Joico ISO Bouncy Crème

I have tried numerous hair products that attempt to hold curls. This one is the best! I like this product because 1) it smells good 2) it does not make your hair greasy no matter how much you use 3) you can't feel the product in your hair, very natural and 4) it holds curl super well and makes your curls stay all day. What I do: I wash my hair, dry with towel and brush my hair straight to get all the knots out, then I put in a frizz reducer, such as Frizz Ease cream. After that I take the bouncy cream on my hands and scrunch up my hair with the bouncy cream all over my hands. I have natural wavy hair, but this makes my hair curly. Love it

This is my favorite hair product. It is way better than gel or mousse. It leaves your hair feeling soft, but controls frizz. . A lot is not needed. I am 5'10" and my hair goes to my butt. I have very curly hair and only need about 3 quarter size amounts. If you use too much, your hair will become oily, so using less is better. I would also suggest brushing your hair in the shower and then wetting it one more time before hopping out; It helps keep curls more defined. My old hair stylist recommended it to me over 10 years ago. It is hard to find where I live, so I am glad I can find it on Amazon. Arrived quickly, no spills or damage.

I have used this curl creme for years, and I love it. I have very fine hair, and my curls and waves are easily weighed down by product. Yet, if I don't use product, my hair is frizzy. This is the only creme I've found that doesn't weigh down my curls and make them look flat while keeping my hair soft (not crunchy at all) and without frizz. I live in a dry climate, so I do find when I go somewhere that is humid, I get a bit of frizz, but nothing that bothers me. Also, I had to learn to let my hair dry without touching it. While my hair is wet and I have this in, it can feel sticky and almost a little oily. If I just let it dry though, it feels fine after. I really do like this product, and I highly recommend it if you have fine hair that can't handle a lot of curl products.

The pump does not work but like the cream for my nature curly hair. Amazon will send another one.4/10/2021: the replacement was received quickly just after one day. But the pump does not work either. I am not returning or asking for another one. Just want to let product manufacture know that it needs to improve or fix it.

Smells great, works wonderfully on my naturally "extra wavy/curly" hair! NEVER makes my hair crunchy or wet looking... it is always soft!Edit: TOTALLY agree with the less is more comments! I have also used for 'touch-ups' if the weather makes my hair particularly frizzy. (a tiny/dime sized amount; rub in hands and scrunch gently into hair as needed.)

I have baby fine hair with moderate wave. I live in Florida, and the humidity makes my hair limp and lifeless. While I like my hair jaw to shoulder length, I usually cut it shorter because it's easier to deal with. Over the years, I've spent a fortune on mousses, gels and other products that usually leave my waves looking stringy. This product is AMAZING. It leaves my hair full and bouncy. Plus, my waves are uneven, and this allows me to coax the flatter areas into greater fullness. Love, love, love this product.

I have used a lot of haircare products over the years for my fine, curly, aging, color-treated hair, and this is one of the best. Most products are either too heavy, or they leave my hair stiff and crunchy, and when I break up the crunch, I end up with hair that's too fluffy. I work this product through my wet hair and let it dry naturally, and I get a good result with curls that are a bit chunky without looking greasy or stiff. I'm not crazy about the scent, but I'm willing to live with that. I definitely recommend this product.

First off, this smells great. I don’t care how well something works in my hair, if I hate the smell I won’t wear it. Not a problem here. It’s not floral or heavy, just a clean scent. Reminds me a lot of Biolage, honestly.The product itself is nice, too. Not heavy for my fine curls, but good hold without crunch. My hair is fine, curly, and dense. It can be hard to find products that don’t weigh down the curl. This is a one and done for fall/winter. For summer, I need a little something else for humidity protection.
