Use for bikepacking/backpacking pasta dinners, way cheaper than freeze-dried dinners!
For bikepacking/backpacking I've always carried a stove and have used Mountain House freeze-dried meals for YEARS now. However, they are kind of pricey and bulky (carry 6 or 7 two-person meals in your pack and you'll know what I'm talking about). I've converted to carrying super cheap Pasta Roni noodles (take it out of the box and put in a zip lock bag to cut way down on storage size), and also a small can of chicken to mix in. However nearly any noodle kit requires butter. I found THIS! Problem SOLVED! Add a heaping spoonful into the water, boil the noodles and add the sauce, viola, a great trail-side dinner for way cheaper than freeze-dried! (you also need powdered milk, Anthony's makes that too, I use the Whole Milk version for more calories)! This stuff is the bomb! Powdered butter, who knew!

Close expiration date
I was expecting to be able to have this shelf stable pantry item for a while however the close "best by" date will force me to use it sooner than later.

Powdered butter
I use powdered eggs in baking, so I thought why not powdered butter in the mixes I need butter in. It has worked out well in what I bake. Still get good taste and texture. I get about a nine month or so on a bag and keep one handy. Never know when the supply line will break.
