this charming 36 card petit deck pays tribute to Pamela Coleman Smith, including a 132 page booklet packaged in an adorable Tin box. Review: Pretty and Petite Deck, Great Illustrations - The artwork is so remarkably similar to the Rider-Waite it's uncanny. I appreciate the similarity, since I've been reading Tarot for over twenty years but never have taken up Lenormand with any seriousness. I find Lenormand easy, however, because I learned to read cards with playing cards, and Lenormand has some similarities with that style, even if this particular deck does not have the litle playing card inserts many of these types of decks have. But the images are clear and focused, and the deck is just plain pretty. And it looks like a fortune-telling deck, which I think is psychologically useful. It took a few tries before I got comfortable with this deck, and part of the issue is the cards are extremely petite and difficult to shuffle, especially since the deck is "thinner" than a Tarot deck. I've dealt (ha ha, see what I did there) with many odd sized decks over the years, however, so what I do is take the cards and deal them out in three stacks, put them back together, deal again, etc., until it feels right. Seven times is usually when I stop, gather them, then cut them and lay them out. If you're new to Lenormand I'd definitely recommend. The little booklet that comes with is nice-- I've been using Rana George's book "The Essential Lenormand", however, and the booklet is very small so since I'm not using it consistently I can't say how easy it is to use. Review: Attractive Cards, Detailed Readings, Not Distracting - I love the art on these cards. The art on this deck is based on the art from Pamela Colman Smith, so if you like the art on the Rider-Waite Smith deck, you'll like these too. I appreciate that these cards don't have any writing on them, so they don't distract me while reading at all. Size is perfect for Lenormand. Easy to shuffle as well.

FIVE STARS for a lot of reasons!
I read tarot and Lenormand. I read them differently, but to me it is up to everyone how THEY wish to read. I LOVE Pamela Colman Smith's artwork, her Commemorative deck by US Games is my favorite tarot deck. I love the other drawings I have she did that had nothing to do with tarot. While I read tarot one way and Lenormand an other, the fact that some of her tarot images are in the Lenormand deck doesn't throw me. All I require of a Lenormand is that I can clearly see the 36 images associated with Lenormand (the Heart, the Sun, etc). Normally, I like just ONE Lenormand image in a card, so the LETTER could have felt a bit "off" to me, but as I am familiar with that particular image, the woman reading a LETTER, it doesn't bother me. I LOVE the card stock, the images are easy to see, and the tin is a nice touch, although I wish the tin were a bit smaller. The cards sloosh around a bit in the tin. I may put the deck in a small fitted case instead, but the tin is lovely, even if a bit big. All in all, I have to give it five stars as all the Lenormand images are there to be read, it's Pamela's artwork, the cardstock is grand and it is a great addition to my Lenormand collection.

Good Lenormand
Exceedingly pleasant Lenormand deck.

Very small cards
The artwork is great, it should be familiar to anyone who has used tarot before. Cards seem to be a nice quality. My only issue, and it’s a minor one, is just how small the cards are. The cards are just a little bigger than business card-sized, so someone like me with bigger hands may find themselves wanting more. If this deck was printed again in a larger size I’d certainly buy it again.

Perfect little Lenormand deck
Super cute little Lenormand deck. It arrived on time and in perfect conditions. I have never like the centennial edition of the RWS tarot. But this deck is just perfect. I don't know if it's because is vintage but I felt the connection to it as soon as I opened it and started to look at every card. The booklet is also very informative and useful, and anyways if there is something else you want to know about the Lenormand deck you can look for it online.

I've found it very easy to use
Though I have many years of experience with Tarot, I'm a newcomer to Lenormand, so I chose this deck for its visual similarities to my RWS Tarot decks. So far, I've found it very easy to use, and it's been giving me accurate and easy-to-interpret readings. The cards are close in size to standard playing cards, which makes them very easy to handle and shuffle. The tin that the deck comes in is substantial, and the lid stays securely on, so it's great for keeping the cards in good shape in a purse or bag, too. The "little white book" (LWB) that comes with this deck gives concise, no-nonsense meanings for each card, but because it's more like a paperback mini-book rather than a stapled booklet, it's a bit cumbersome to use (the book keeps closing -- you'd have to break the spine to keep it open) while reading. Still, if you're a Lenormand newbie, this seems like a very good place to begin. Give it a try.

Amazing recycling of Pamela Coleman Smith's images in this loving tribute...
Edmund Zebrowski lovingly created a hit with this beautiful offering. And the images are familiar! They are from the Rider-Waite Tarot that we all know and love and the variations of that famous deck. The colors match more with the Smith-Waite Tarot; muted, soft and understated. The images are minimalist and Victorian in style. The backs are a soft powdery blue with a simple pink rose and leaves in the middle. The booklet that comes with the deck is a great source of information...listing ENERGY, KEYWORDS, FULL MEANING, the source of the images (either from the Tarot or from Pamela Coleman Smith's other publishing projects) and so much more. I always partner Pixie's Astounding Lenormand with the Smith-Waite Tarot Deck, also in a can. I can toss both of these in my purse or bag and not worry about them getting damaged or wet when I am at the beach. Pixie was Pamela Coleman Smith's nickname. She was the original creator of the artwork (woodcuts) used for the Rider-Waite deck and it's variations and during her lifetime was not given full credit for her work. Sad to say, she died almost penniless. Now, I think she is smiling at us from the Great Beyond knowing that her name and her works are still very much alive! Thank you, Edmund! #TarotandStars #LenormandinTampa #TarotinTampa #TarotandStarsReviews

Pamela Coleman Smith Tarot + Lenormand
These are so cute, I love the art and the colours. Wonderful Lenormand deck. Comes in a handy tin and you also get a little book as well. Book is kind of hard to handle/read because it's so small.

FAVOLOSE
In vero stile Pamela Colman Smith, in formato pocket.

Excelente calidad e costo adicional
