And her writing matters. her work is important for the world we are living in. her writing helps us to discover ways to look back into our own hearts as well as out into the world around us. her writing is visceral and will unnerve your practiced, habitual way for seeing the world.

i love reading the lyrics in the way she wanted them to be expressed. You can interpret a song any way, but when you get to see it written in the way they actually wanted the lines broken down can change the whole meaning of each piece.

I am very fond of this author. She writes with incredible humanity, sincerity and as a master of words.

Il y a les paroles de ses chansons ainsi que quelques photos des manuscrits originaux le livre est en hardback (couverture dure et épaisse), broché, le papier est de qualité et le fait que les pages ne soient pas parfaitement rabotées donnent beaucoup de charme à l'objet Cette version est celle de l'édition américaine (donc originale), je ne connais pas la différence avec l'édition anglaise de bloomsbury (si ce n'est la couverture)

this is an amazing and comprehensive collection of Patti's lyrical works over the years. as a long time fan, and having done a deep dive into her early work many years ago, this collection absolutely does her work a great justice. beautiful to read as well as listen to. a must for anyone into less 'mainstream' poetry or alt/punk music. Patti has combined the beatnik with punk so well for such a sustained time, I highly recommend her to almost everyone. arrived in perfect condition as well.
