Exceeded expectations
Easy to use, clean power, solid regulation, and accurate. It outputs a maximum of 3.75 amps or 50 watts, whichever is lower. e.g. 3.33 amps at 15 volts, 2..08 amps at 24 volts, or 1.67 amps at 30 v. There's a software calibration mode but mine was spot on to my DVM, within a few hundredths of a volt so I didn't bother with it. The USB outputs are fixed at 5.1 v (a good thing) but you can set current limits at anything up to 2.5 amps and monitor actual current. Minor quibbles: The manual is poorly translated but the interface is pretty intuitive. The power button just controls the output so the unit stays on as long it's getting AC. Build quality is excellent overall but the included output leads are crappy. Much more compact and handy than an equivalent linear power supply. Highly recommended.

This is a great, portable power-supply!
I was looking for a smaller adjustable DC power supply, for occasions when I don't want to drag out the big bench supply, or when I need portability. This Tekpower TP3016M (newer revision), is just the ticket. Being revised, mine does not have the issue with negative voltage when the output is off. The voltage and current ranges are quite impressive for such a small unit (roughly the size of a DMM). Some folks dislike the lack of a unit power switch, but I've personally found it not to be a problem.

Works great
At first I thought that it was a bit pricey, but it's very well made and reliable. Besides, I've been using it so much that it pays for itself just by saving me time not having to look for adapters with the right amps and voltage. I "upgraded" it by taking the cord and plugs from an old universal adapter. I like that it takes up less space than most power supplies and unlike the picture on the box and site, the green display backlight is actually white. Round knobs would be easier/faster to adjust than pressing those rubbery buttons, but being able to instantly recall 5 stored settings somewhat makes up for it.

Sensitive circuits beware!
I had been looking for a compact PSU for a while to use when I don't want to break out my larger bench machine. This was a ok mix of price / convenience. The outputs seem very stable and accurate, the additional USB outputs are very handy (all outputs got to 5v mode when USB is on i.e. it's truly single channel). I haven't placed it under heavy load so I can't comment on heat. The build quality is Ok, but don't expect this to be super rugged. However there is one significant flaw in my unit, (and according to google others have this issue as well) when the output is "off" it's actually outputting a negative biased voltage of -0.64v on the normal output terminals and -0.29 on the USB outputs. This amount of negative biasing can severely damage sensitive circuits. Of course you can avoid this issue by not connecting anything to the power supply until you've enabled the output. So be very very careful using this supply!

Very handy portable dc power supply
I purchased this amazing portable power supply for use in our overseas home. It is quite small and light, strongly built, easily carried in a backpack or travel case, and useable off our own 240V supply. It is very easy to use for my electronic hobby projects, providing a good range of controlled and stable voltage/current for my use.

Was lead to beleive it was battery powered. I just need
I got this for electronic sensor testing as im an oilfeild E-tech i deal with a lot of 2 wire 4-20Ma sensors and to test sensor vs cable ran to said sensor. A lot of guys have a 1500$ fluke meter with a loop power mode. I dont have power outlets. All my stuff must be battery powered or butane powered. I guess i didnt read closely enough but i assumed a device with portability in mind would have a battery. A+ in quality. C- in product design Update: added dc power input via a barrel plug. Can only do voltages a bit below the input though, the rectifier puts out 38.5 volt so a 40 volt source seems ideal. Where to solder in pics

Has worked well for me for over 5 years
I've been using this power supply daily since I bought it over 5 years ago. It's nice for using in videos because it lays flat next to projects I am demonstrating. In that way it is easy to see the display while also showing the circuit that it is powering. I also use it to recharge smaller lithium batteries and power banks because you can limit the current. It will easily fit well in a bag and doesn't weigh much when you want a more portable adjustable power supply rather than the normal sized power supplies. Compact, easy to use and versatile power supply!
This is the most compact variable power supply that I could find, and that was a must for I travel a lot. It's easy to use, and the output is precise. The USB ports are very handy too. I needed a wide range of voltage, and 1.6 amp at its higher voltage is quite a bit. I didn't need ultra clean levels (it's a switched supply, not linear), and if I needed I can always filter in my circuits. Online you can find several reviews warning about a negative voltage of - 0.6v instead of 0 when the output is disabled . That's true, and for most people it's not too important. To me it wasn't a show stopper! If you're worried about it and like electronics you can modify it yourself. Their support team is excellent! I asked about that issue and they not only pointed me to the right documentation, but also sent me free resistors for the modification. Overall I think that is really good bang for the bucket.

Unprofessional Amazon
The item is correct however the seller as well as Amazon both had irresponsible behaviour. Despite non delivery complaints Amazon did not do anything nor they called to know the status. Amazon has proved to be unreliable and unprofessional b2b seller.

Avoid.
A power supply with no power switch? Yup. A button that sets it to +5v, 2.5A with one accidental touch? Yup. Random voltages, including negative on the outputs? Why not.
