House of Robots (House of Robots, 1)

(from a 9 year old child) This book is a good start to chapter books and is the best chapter book I have read. Readers of any age, will have there eyes glued on the books words! The book may not have colors, but it can color a persons imagination. This book will also spark children's fun in reading chapter books.

Got this while looking for something after reading the Wimpy Kid series to read with my son. We both loved it. He is younger (going into 2nd) than the target audience for this and I feel lucky that I was doing some of the reading when we got to an unexpected spoiler about Santa not being real. This is fine for older kids but I think we have one season left with the big red guy (or most likely my son knows the game and is playing us :-)

Bought this for my son, and he giggled his way through the entire book in less than 2 days. Once I picked it up and started reading it, I could see why. Very clever story, very well written and engaging. I understand there's a second installment to this book, so we'll be moving on to it next. Four thumbs up here from both mother and child.

Started with the second book in this series and my son loved it so much he put this one on his wish list for his 5th birthday. He is robot obsessed and there are enough pictures to keep his attention. I’d recommend for older readers as some of the references went over his head- but if you have a young robot lover who likes to hear chapter books give it a try! I imagine my son will read it again as he gets older and get more from the dialogue.

What do you buy a 10-year-old boy that doesn't have to be plugged in?You CANNOT lose with James Patterson books (for any age). This one will appeal to my nephew because he loves to read and loves to build things. THANK YOU, James Patterson, for making sure 10-year-old boys have something fun to read.

Petty good it's good for 2 to 4 graders.It's pretty easy to read and it makes you want to keep on reading and never Stop.There's nothing that bad about it but if you are a adult with a kid and you don't want your kid reading books with bullying and kid napping.But that's one of the only con. This book can be sometimes even a little hard for adults. This book is full of jokes a n d it's sometimes you can learn a thing or two.

Great book! My gifted 6 year old read the whole book in one day! He loves reading and re-reading all kinds of books and this one he just couldn't put down! Illustrations are funny and keep him interested. Reading is not too challenging for him. The next book comes out today, we already ordered it and now it's on the way! Just in time for Thanksgiving break!

Great book! Nice morals. Great for kids. It is a book that has the thickness tweens like without any if the violence or other things that parents cringe from. There are a couple jokes that could be classified as immature, inappropriate in a grade school kind of way. But the overall story is touching. The pictures and comic style jokes throughout the book top it off as an awesome read.

The House of Robots is a very funny and interesting book. Worth the price. Illustrations were very good. Quick delivery by Amazon and the book arrived in good condition.

I just got this book not that long ago, I thought it wasn't going to be very good but when I started reading I just got sucked in it!

My son really enjoyed reading this book. When I asked him how many stars to give it he said 100 stars!!! I think that's proof of how much he enjoyed the story. Really enjoyable series of books for my son who is 7 years old.
