LEC USA 2001 Amtrak National Railroad Passenger Corporation Battery Operated Train Set

My son loves trains especially Amtrak. I'm really glad they had this toy train available, it made my sons Christmas. The train is battery powered, comes already detailed. The stations had places to put stickers, to make it look more realistic, which was cool. It's getting 4 stars because when the train tracks go upward, the supports it sits on does not connect to hold the track in place, meaning it slides and messes up the tracking if you accidentally touch it. There been a lot of "mommy, can you please fix my track" and it gets a bit frustrating.

Tenía mis reservas sobre éste tren porque leí algunos comentarios negativos sobre la calidad y francamente esperaba algo más robusto. Lo compré en agosto porque para fin de año se agota y Santa lo acaba de traer, si había alguna falla no habría oportunidad de devolverlo. El primer dia se lo armé, aliviada que estuviera perfecto, y ahora mi terremoto,que es bastante brusco, lo hace en un santiamén y lo disfruta a diario. Lo recomiendo.

This train set is ok. I do like how its made after amtrak. But its not the best train set out there. The tracks are a pain to put together. And when you do put them together the tracks are not that sturdy. There are also some bits and pieces that keep coming off as well. Overall its ok. But you can probably find a better train set for a cheaper price.

This train set is perfect for a little train lover! My 5 year old son loves this set. He has the amtrak and the BNSF. The tracks are easy for him to put together himself and the train is easy for him to get on the track himself as well. We have a more expensive Lionel HO set and he cannot do it without assistance. For the cheaper price of this set I don't care if it gets tossed around or a piece gets broken. It is perfect for him right now. We haven't had any problems of the tracks not fitting together or the train falling apart. Thanks for making an age appropriate train set

Doesn’t go very fast on curves. A little sluggish with all 4 cars. Better with two or three cars. It’s not the batteries. Design flaw. But ok for my 6 yr old.

I love my Amtrak train set it's too cute and I am a Big Amtrak fan I even had little people ( Ho Scale) that I put on the platforms (Upper and lower) all my friends think it is cute too the only bad thing is sometimes the track slips off the green stands but it's easy to fix All in All I Love it and Give it 5 Stars Thank you Amazon

My son love the train is easy to put together the only problem is the materia it was make....

Bought this for my 4 year old train obsessed nephew for Christmas. I haven’t been very impressed with it for a couple of reasons.1) the green lifts that hold the track do not stay together at all, no way to clip them together or anything. They keep coming apart so it’s not sturdy.2) the top of the bridge is too short for the first car to fit in. So the bridge is basically useless.I would have returned it if my nephew still didn’t love it, flaws and all.
