Seller What is the weight rating on these? Can it withstand 500lbs?

According to the specs, it should handle 12.9 kiloNewtons. One kiloNewton is about 225 pounds, so it should easily handle 500.

What extra parts are required at a minimum for this product to work?

For my purposes I needed to 3D print the footings that hold the upper and lower plates. The lower footing is slightly deeper to accommodate the bearing cage. I think something similar would be the minimum needed to make it work correctly. The two halves were done in ABS plastic and then i bolted the two components together that needs to swivel. Far more stable than a lazy Susan bearing and much smoother motion.

Will this bearing fit my new Craftsman T2200 (2022) riding lawn mower? I noticed that the axle spindle is different than most riding mowers.

Patricia, Spindle needs to be 3/4" or 20mm. For these to work, also about 4-5 mm. extra Ht. for proper clearance. You can delete one of the original washers if need be.
