The Surprising World of Bacteria With Max Axiom, Super Scientist (Graphic Library: Graphic Science)

My kid asked a lot of insightful questions after reading this and it was cute to introduce the kids to microbiology. But it was really too short of a read to justify the cost.

8yo son loves this whole series - it's not terribly advanced, but gives a good overview of the subject matter. I think the point is to pique the kid's interest, then if they want more info they can go to a more in-depth source. But a fun read and we'll be getting more in the series!

These are great for making science fun and easy to read about.

The illustrations are great but the story line is a little lacking. Good overall.

The idea of these books is great, but they need to make the book longer with more of a plot so that children have time to get into the adventure and learn the information.

As always, these are great books. Such a help for students who need just a little different approach when learning. High interest, high impact learning.

This is amazing! I bought it and the cell life version together and my son loves them. A really accessible and easy way for students to get a grip on the basics. There should be a copy in every biology class and library. Just can't overstate how good these are.
