This is one of those products where I'm sure you can get something better but that you have to pay a LOT more to do so. This tripod is great and packs down pretty small. It is one of several "brands" that are all clearly being produced in the same Chinese production facility under different names. They're all the same, just pick which ever one is cheaper at the time, or comes in the color that you want.

Decent product; fair price!
Pros: very small & light. Cons: doesn't fold out to be very high because... It's small & light! Hey, you can't repeal the laws of physics.A decent product at a fair price! Would buy again...

Q666c Tripod
I love the tripod!!, very light weight and compact, easy to handle and I love the versatility of the tripod angles that you can do.. Fits my D7200 camera with 18-300 lens with no problem. I am not crazy about the bag design color...but I figure it will keep me from losing the tripid or leaving it behind. I highly recommend buying the tripod.

Great tripod, excellent build quality, fits in a standard carry-on bag for flights
This tripod is amazing. Fantastic build quality, very, very light weight, and it folds up into a package small enough to fit into a standard size carry-on bag for US domestic flights. Everything I was looking for. The monopod option is pretty nice (one leg unscrews and fastens to the central column, which can be detached from the main tripod body), but the weight is just amazing coming from the world of aluminum tripods.

Great piece of equipment
Great piece of equipment. Ideal for travelling. The tripod could be a little top heavy if you use a bigger camera. The carbon fibre legs feels strong and gives confidence that it can handle some load. The top 'neck' column when extended wobbles a bit and the tripod as a whole doesn't feel super sturdy then. But as a travel tripod, I should not be complaining at such a price point.

Great for international travel
Great for international travel. Ball mount was not strong enough to hold vertical shots stable. Bought the Slik Trigger Release Ball Head which solved the problem. Otherwise a very well built, light weight tripod.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality and cost
considering it looks like a knock off of a better known brand.

I like this trip-pod
I like this trip-pod. Its a bit heavy when you are hiking with a already heavier camera and pack. But I would recommend as it is stable and easy to use.

A good lightweight, flexible, compact tripod, head & case. Cost effective solution useable "as is" or easily upgrade the head.
Lightweight and solid. Locks well and easily.Have two of these now, one for the stills cameras and the second one for video. The second one was returned as one of the twist locks seemed to not lock properly and not willing to take the chance with expensive bodies and glass. Suggest checking carefully on receipt. These were marketplace purchases and so you cannot get a replacement but only a refund but the Amazon returns system worked fine and once refunded I reordered and the replacement is fine.It is short when fully packed away which combined with its light weight makes it ideal for travel.Replaced the heads with a Manfrotto MH054M0-Q2 054 Magnesium Ball Head with Q2 Quick Release and a Manfrotto Micro Fluid Video Head which has the same Quick Release Plate so everything is interchangeable.Nothing particularly wrong with the head supplied if you are on a strict budget but the Manfrotto kit is just so much better.Same goes for the carry case, its a very snug fit but does provide basic protection and given the price this is a great piece of kit.The flexibility provided by the adjustability of the legs allowed me to take pictures in the low early morning light of a harbour view out of a hotel window with 2 legs on tbe floor and the third in the windowsill and get superb results. All in all a good cost effective solution for a lightweight versatile tripod.Would be 5 star but the slightly iffy lock means it loses a star. Will update and reinstate the fifth star if all well after a reasonable amount of use.

I purchased this tripod purely for taking on holiday, normally i would take one of my Vanguard Alta Pro's however they are very heavy for lugging around, even for a couple of hours. Firstly the tripod is super compact making it really easy to attach to your camera bag or stow in take on luggage if you are flying. The legs fold up 180' over the center column hence why it becomes so compact. The legs of the tripod are 'super' tight, they may loosen off in time making it a bit easier to set up, but rest assured they are not going to move once you have them in position. The ball head is excellent and has double locking screws to ensure that is is not going to move once set, even with a heavy camera/lens combo, which i tested with a gripped 5D III with a 70-200 f/2.8 IS II attachedStability is excellent even with a heavyweight camera lens combo and the center column is equipped with a hook if you want to attach a dead weight to ensure there is no movement, especially when doing long exposures.Leg locking rings are easy to use and although there are suggestions regarding over tightening there is no need to apply more torque than is required. With the center column removed, you then have the ability to also unscrew one of the legs, combining the two will give you access to a super light monopod - quite neat in design.Overall i am really pleased with this tripod, it certainly will never replace my Vanguard tripods, but that was not the intention for the purchase, the minimal weight and functionality of this unit make it great for travel.Yes, there are certainly better models out there from some of the bigger names, however, you are paying a premium for the pleasure of owning them.Just thought i would add a couple of pictures, my EOS 5D Mk III gripped, 70-200 mm f/2.8 and EF 2x III, all in quite a bit of weight but the tripod holds it with no movement whatsoever. It does help to keep a coin handy so that you can get the ball head plate nice and tight as you would with any other mounting plate.

Good quality considering price and weight
I tested this with a Nikon D800 + 300mm F4 PF. Total weight should be about 1.5kg, and I could get sharp shots (even viewed at 100%), with the centre column down, with mirror-up mode and a cable release, at any shutter speed tested. Without mirror-up I couldn't get sharp 1s shots, but 4s+ were fine. I haven't tested in windy conditions yet.But in the end, it's a reasonably-priced lightweight compact tripod -- I don't expect it to be perfect. The fact that I can get sharp shots at all with a 300mm lens is (I think) a good result. I use a tripod sufficiently rarely that it's not worth buying a very heavy one (that I won't bother to carry) or a very expensive one.

Outstanding travel tripod
I bought a big heavy Manfrotto tripod a while ago and it is great. Very sturdy. I use it with a Canon 6D for long exposures of several minutes. Works great. However, It's 2.5Kg, and although I don't mind lugging it reasonable distances, it's just too big and too heavy to take on a flight.I have two other lightweight tripods, but they are both quite flimsy - not very sturdy, not good enough for a Canon 6D. And the heads are terrible - very difficult to adjust. So I've been looking for a sturdy, but lighter weight tripod for travelling. I identified this XCSOURCE Carbon fibre one, and a Manfrotto 'BeFree' as possible solutions. Went to see the 'BeFree' one at a local photographic store and liked it almost enough to buy. £118 for an aluminium version, at 1.4Kg. (The Carbon version was over £250, a silly price, and still over 1.1Kg). I liked the sturdiness, and the Manfrotto build quality. But the ball head didn't seem very 'fluid' - it was either too loose or too tight... not that easy to adjust. Then I bought the XCSOURCE online. Nearly £25 cheaper than the Manfrotto aluminium one, and this one is carbon, and weighs only 1.3Kg. Got it yesterday and I'm VERY IMPRESSED with it. It seems more sturdy than the 'BeFree' Aluminium one, and it folds down in a clever way to a smaller size. Seems very nicely designed and built. Ball head is very 'fluid' and easy to adjust and use - really nice feel to it. Nice carry bag too. The quick release plate is excellent, and there are two spirit levels. In every respect - value for money, sturdiness, weight and size, it is excellent.
