Saitek Farming Simulator Wheel, Pedals, & Vehicle Side Panel Bundle (SCB432160002/01/1)

LET ME TELL YOU! It may seem expensive but when you see all what these gadgets do and how much the little one (my grandson) loves it...you will change your mind totally! Couple of hiccups hooking up--no fault of the products but rather my PC--I got the black screen and had to update my video drivers, Microsoft NET, Java and of course an update to the Farming Simulator Gold Edition software that I also had purchased! He is TOTALLY enjoying it right now (may have a hard time dragging him away from it). I am absolutely amazed at what this does along with the software -- so REAL like (my farmer husband is amazed). I recommend this highly and it will bring many, many pleasurable hours of entertainment (not to mention, they are learning about farming stuff too). Great job Saitek!

I gave it 2 stars, because the steering wheel has about 15 degrees before it starts to turn, and on Dec 16, 2016 the vehicle side panel failed.The side panel sometimes did not worked, till I restarted the computer. On Dec 12, 2016 caused a USB over voltage error on my computer and then failed to work. It also have caused the operating system to have problems.The pedal worked fine but did needs some oil to prevent it from squeaking.Oct 16, 2017 the wheel fails all the time.Would I buy it again NO.

Functions as advertised. I used with Farming Simulator 15. No setup or drivers needed. Definitely improved gameplay and immersion. Only real con here is the super cheap quality. All parts are made using very cheap plastic. Steering wheel is loose from the mount. Always worried I'm breaking pedals when I push on them and can even hear the sound of plastic cracking sometimes. The roller on the left hand side of joystick is a complete let down. Functions as roller and button for cruise control. Roll forward to increase speed and back to decrease speed. Clicking roller by pressing engages cruise control. There is no real mechanical click when pressing down. This means while rolling forward or back it is constantly clicking (engaging/disengaging cruise control). Also the roller itself feels very cheap. Would have been better if design had been more based on mouse wheel as this is less sturdy. The joystick itself is too small for any real precision and again made with very cheap plastics. Always worried this will break. Buttons feel like an after thought.Overall, price does not match quality here. Clearly overpriced for the super cheap quality. If looking for a wheel/controller setup for farming sim, I would recommend checking other options out first.

It really is a nice set but its plastic. Not quality plastic either. Cheap Cheap plastic. Is it worth 300 no. And i will be returning it. However the side panel is the gem of the set. if you are after anyting get the side panel. It works beautifully with loaders and forestry equipment! It also links up with Euro Truck sim 2 and Spintires with little to no issues.

Was an enjoyable wheel at the start. Worked nice, but did notice it was designed a little cheap. Initially that didn't bother me, and honestly, still doesn't really. The real issue though was when the steering wheel began malfunctioning and failing while turning right.As for the side panel, even after the steering wheel went belly-up, the panel continued to power through and didn't give any issues until recently. I am still using it today, although a button or two is beginning to act as though you just pushed it twice. Also, the plastic piece covering the base of the joystick snapped (which was kinda my fault for bending it after I thought it was getting brittle) and the twist axis on the joystick is no longer registering, behaving as if you are always holding it to the open side when using front loader tools. So now when I map bindings in the game, I have to make sure it registered the right axis.It was fun after having first got it, granted it looking and feeling cheap. In the end though, I would not recommend this product due to the poor quality of both the wheel and side panel.

Outstanding quality, use daily and works perfectly. Super fun and easy to use. (Have owned for 4 months) easy compatibility with games.

great product and so many possibilities. although i returned mine, but i did that, because my intent was to use in a totally different application than intended, and it almost performed, but not to the level i needed. it can be a great tool and lots of fun, if used as intended.

Junk. I purchased this combo to go with the farming game. I only use it for maybe and hour a night through the week and after about two months the side panel joystick stopped working. I sent it off and Saitek replaced it then about four months later the steering wheel stopped. Well Saitek got bought out and there is absolutely no support or help. I finally called and got ahold of someone and they took my information and said they would get back with me. Now a month later....nothing. I would not suggest this product to anyone.
