Great build.
It was fun to build. Easy to assemble once you use to instruction (a bit different than lego). Very sturdy. My 6 yo love to play with it. Looks great on the shelf. Few extra pieces left, but 1 small part was missing (or my kid loose it when helping.... I don't know). I replace with lego. Plastic quality is good, shapes fit together nicely. I would say quality is 10% worst than Lego, but waaaay better than Chinese brands. This thing is huge.

Beautiful model
I bought this to get over a girl. As such, the model has a lot of sentimental value, but putting it together was also such a real joy. The pieces are high quality, and the finished product is so much bigger than I thought. It's proudly been the centerpiece of my living room ever since, protecting me from all kinds of foes, known and unknown. The company, COBI, also sells extra mini airplanes on their website so if you want to make it more true to life, you can buy that.If you're on the fence, you should get it. Enterprise is one of those hero ships that any history enthusiast should know about. You'll be happy you bought the model!!

-General-My comments here apply to most, if not all of Cobi's building sets. So far I've built several of Cobi's ship and plane sets, soon to be truck/tank sets, and they are easily the go-to brick-building company for both military and civilian vehicle sets. I've looked into some of the other brick builders like Oxford and inFUNity, and they just didn't seem as polished and well thought out as Cobi. The unique and effective catalogue of bricks they use make for cleverly designed and built sets, which are extremely satisfying to construct, if you're coming from Lego's standard set of bricks. It's real nice not having to go to niche custom set designers for some really solid renditions of all kinds of vehicles.Their building instructions are a bit different to that of Lego's, which threw me for a loop at first, but I soon realized it's a better way of instructing. It makes it a bit clearer as to what bricks go where, especially with how similar some of their bricks can be. They also print a lot of the decals on the bricks, so no stickers!-Enterprise-Specific to this set, the Enterprise is a historical icon, and Cobi has reimagined it wonderfully. The hull form is superbly designed to shape, the sub flight-deck structures are amazingly detailed (far more than I thought possible), the flight deck is lined with a ton 12.7mm Brownings which is just awesome looking, and they made special molds for the planes that turned out really good. The build could easily take several days of on-off building.

Great Build
Excellent engineering. Everything fit perfectly and really looks great. The three build instructions books were great and done very well. Really enjoyed this kit. THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER'S KIT.

Amazing
Truly a must have for all people that likes warships and lego. The brick's quality is as good as Lego's and they're compatible. It will give you hours of work and fun, and the result is truly satisfying. It didn't miss any pieces and I didn't have any major problem. It contains a lot of small pieces so be careful. The manual is well explained and it's similar to Lego's, It just have small differences but you'll notice why these changes were made when you build it. The box arrived with some scratches and a hole, but everything was still inside the box so it doesn't really matter. I don't recommend this for children as it can be a little complex and have a lot of small pieces, but anyone with experience should do fine. Looking forward to buy more warships from this brand.

Not beginners friendly
Then instruction manual leaves to he desired but I will say it looks incredible and is surprisingly insanely sturdy mine had a few missing pieces so that's a thing either way I'm definitely going to buy more of this product

Very good
This model is amazing though there are some issues with the model like the fact that not all of the pieces are easy to snap together or stay in place incredibly well but its OK and other issue is the accuracy, it isn't inaccurate but since the Enty had so many different looks it appears that kind went with her 43 to 44 ish look but also put in elements of 42 and a tiny bit of 45 which is understandable as like I said the Enty had so many different looks that it's hard to really be 1:1 accurate but overall I'd give this model a 8/10 an extremely good model but some issues with the pieces and the historical accuracy which can be excused.

Perfect For Any Fan of Historic Models
I highly recommend anyone who's into realistic historic building models to pick up this set. Not only is it a beautiful display piece but it is fun to put together. The price is well worth it, especially with the discounted price I purchase it at, and a great deal compared to other leading brands. There are a few minor issues I encountered ( The connection on the larger 8 turrets varies in terms of friction, one of them being very loose as to the point of being un-posable, the front-most 2 propellers are unable to turn, as they are essentially touching the hull, a few pieces in the rear near the propeller come loose easily with force, and a few more issues) but they were mostly nitpicks and don't take away from the overall building process and experience. I will say that this was much larger than I had anticipated, which I was more than happy about, so you will have to allocate a decent amount of space to display this beast. In my opinion, Cobi is one of the best alternatives to Lego and they do an excellent job at making accurate historical models, and this is one of their better sets (not to say that any of their sets are bad), so if you own other Cobi models and enjoyed them, I implore you to buy this, and if you have no experience with Cobi and enjoy building Lego sets, I HIGHLY recommend taking a dive into their wide assortment of gems.
