WORKS for my Aruba S2500-48p switch!
I was struggling to find a DAC that would work with my Aruba S2500-48p switch, but this one worked like a charm! However, you MAY get an error about unsupported SFP+ if you plug this DAC into a fussy Intel card. This is not a fault of the cable, but rather a poor decision on Intels part about only allowing Intel SFPs. I was able to use a kernel mod to get RHEL7 and RHEL8 to ignore the error from the NIC and use the SFP.Getting damn near full 10 gbps on this cable. Love it!

be sure your systems properly support this cable
Works at 10GB when the proper modules that work with it are installed. I did not do my research into procurve switches and thought these worked on the front ports- but my model did not support these without expensive expansion ports for the back. Once I grimaced and bought them they worked without issue.

Great short SFP+ cable
Works great with my Qnap High-Performance 8-Bay NAS with 2x10GbE (SFP+) Network, Hardware Encryption TS-831X-8G-US and ipolex for 10GbE Converged Network Adapter (NIC), Mellanox ConnectX-2 Chipset, PCI-E X8, Single SFP+ Port.

Cables work, with exception
These do work fine as X242 replacements at the switch level and in normal NICs. However, I began using them in HP NC552SFP Emulex Converged adapters and they do not work properly; flapping, rapid activity, complete link loss, etc. Only if you force the speed and cable length from the OneCommand utility in windows will they behave normally. However, when booting in BIOS or using ESXi, they are unusable with the NC552 adapter. Too bad, I was going to by lots more. Now they must go in the trash... :(

Simple, cheap, works.
Worked great on the 10Gb NICs I bought secondhand. Connected two machines directly to a third and they connected just fine. Made me realize how slow my NAS is (~410MBps). Used on three HP 10 GbE PCI-e G2 Dual Port NICs, PN 516937-B21 (which are actually Mellanox Connect-X2 Rev B1). Full product name is "Macroreer for Mellanox MC3309130-001 SFP+ DAC 1M Twinax Cable SFP+10GBASE-CU Direct Attach Copper Cable 1-meter Passive".

Worked as expected
Connected right up, 10G Using a few different Intel X520's and a MikroTik switch. So far, flawless.

Works great, for a great price
Works great, for a great price, though as it's 10Gbps I did have to manually set my SFP port to 1Gbps before it would establish the link w/o the other switch on an SFP+. Auto-negotiating the link speed, even on two Ubiquiti switches, one with SFP and the other w/ SFP+, did not happen.

Works like a charm.
These were at least 1/3 of the price of official cables, and they work just as well. We needed to jumper some 10G ports between Juniper EX4550 switches to stack them and had no issues.
