Pneumatic Power Building Kit

My grandson and his dad having a blast with it. Great educational toy. Need to up the material quality though, even if I had to pay a little more.

The fischertechnik pneumatic kit was a present for my 8 year old daughter. She build a number of lego models and wanted something more advanced. I looked at lego technic and found the models either too expensive&big or not technical enough. Then I came across this set with 5 different pneumatic models at a really reasonable price. After building two models, I can say, she likes it a lot. The pneumatic functions are cool. Especially that you can build up pressure and do a couple of movements with this stored energy. The models have a good variety and the manual is well-thought-out. The parts are robust and fit together nicely. There are ca 200 different parts in this box. For an 8 year old, I helped at some steps, e.g. that the parts face in the right direction. It took ca 3h to build the crane model. It can go up and down via pneumatics. It has wheels to pull it around. Fischertechnik is more demanding than building with bricks. It is building in all three dimensions. It is more flexible and powerful for building machines of any kind. I assume that an >10 year old should be able to do the models without support. My kids are looking at the catalog right now and I have a strong feeling that we will have more fischertechnik in the future.

I had horrible experience with this German company. I wanted to start a class so I bought plenty of their products across the lines. Now, at Profi levels, more and more the models depend on the controller for them all to offer the best educational values. Day One the boxes arrived and the Controller broke. I reached out to both the seller and the company in Germany. They all pretended to provide technical support while all that meant was, "hey, there cannot be any problem. It should be working now". That's bad customer service. Another thing is that almost all of their products related to electronics do not have manuals for such equipment. You buy even a can opener and you get some instructions on how to use it property. If there is anything that is "okay" with Fischertechnik then it is the Building Instruction manual. It's okay, but it's all elementary. Comparing to other STEM educational packages ( I will not name names here), the "soft value" of post-purchase services from Fischertechnik is way too inferior. I will not come back to this company.

Maybe the product is good but the box came with a shipping label attached to the outside. No box. No protection. The box itself is crushed and my son saw it on the front porch. Total shipping fail and ruined birthday surprise.

Fischertechnik è stato, nella mia adolescenza, il mio gioco di costruzioni preferito. Mi è piaciuto molto sapere che è ancora prodotto, e ho approfittato del periodo natalizio per regalarlo a mio figlio, di 8 anni. Questa scatola si è rivelata tranquillamente alla sua portata, e i meccanismi azionati pneumaticamente funzionano molto bene. E' un gioco educativo e divertente, ed economicamente accessibile. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro abbiano un giovane costruttore in casa...

Une alternative aux autres jeux de constructions archis connus, assemblage de qualité, mecanismes qui fonctionnent. Seuls bemols, le prix et la boite qui ne permet pas de ranger les toutes petites pièces, nombreuses.

Montaż jest dość trudny, wg mnie za trudny dla 8latka.

Súper divertida, para aprender lo más básico de neumatica seas pequeño o mayor. Piezas muy versátiles y diseño robusto. Desde luego, antes de comprarse el modelo grande, este es ideal para probar.
