Sand-Texture Polycovers

I do a lot of historical research and genealogy, and sometimes electronic books don’t cut it. When that happens I print out books, but find books in binders too cumbersome, and cover less books get damaged so quickly I stop using them. These frosted covers solve all those problems. I love these covers, and the cost value and quality of them can’t be matched. They don’t scratch from looking at them too closely or get dents from bending them. They’re frosted enough but not too much. One side has a bit of texture and the other seems smooth. They’re easy to cut with a scissors or paper cutter but strong. Hole punchers and comb binding machines work fine on them, but not more than a couple pages of these at a time. The corners are pretty sharp, but if you just cut them on a tiny angle the sharpness goes away. Some covers like this are actually a little larger than your standard US 8.5” x 11” paper. These ARE the same size as our paper. So keep that in mind if you’re mixing different types of covers for one book. Note: in the video I posted I cut the paper, tab sheets and covers down to a narrower size due to the old directory I printed being an odd narrow size. I had strips of the plastic tab sheets left over, and used a couple in the screwed binded edge. I think it looks kind of cool and adds more strength to the edge.

We use these for our property management booklets and have been very pleased with the quality. This takes our presentations to the next level for minimal cost.

These oversized covers and backs with 2 rounded corners are purr-fect, a rarity in the big-box venues, where and when one is able to find them they are overpriced relative to lesser quantity of covers. And here in Portlandia it generally involves stalking the aisles which means that it is more like a scavenger hunt than shopping for office supplies. The whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I used these for making stencils with my cricut and I love them. I used the whole pack and wish I had more. Super sturdy but also flexible. And cleans nicely.

I thought I was ordering 200 clear covers. But my mistake. At any rate I have used the product in the past and it's a very good product

They are 8 mm thick, and I am confident that they will 'punch' or bind easily with the rest of the papers I use! These are 8-1/2x11" and perfect whether my book is 100 pages or 400 pages!
