I will never go to a beach again without my tent. This thing is a lifesaver and I don’t know how I have been dealing with the beach without it. This protects you from sand protects you from the sun and wind! it had pockets and window covers that I didn’t even expect to get with something at this Price tag. The build quality is great. It’s so easy to assemble and disassemble when you know what you’re doing and just follow the directions. This easily fits two large adults and some kids too if you want to. I freaking love this thing.

If you want a beach tent this is the one to get!!!!!! I'm a mom who loves the beach, but trying to take young children can often make thing complicated....where will they nap? Where will they change? How much can I lug to the beach without throwing out my shoulder? Do I have a half hour to try to get a beach tent to somehow fold back up into an impossibly small bag only to have it rip while the kids are melting down because they are tired? THIS WILL SOLVE ALL THOSE PROBLEMS!!!! I'm in my mid 30s post c section mom who also has an old neck and shoulder injury...this may not seem important but any other post c section mom knows that your core strength has a difficult time recovering and it can make things harder on you. Due to old neck and shoulder injury my arm strength is certainly not what it use to be either. This tent came in a very very long box....my 1st thought was "holy cow this won't fit in the car" thank goodness the box was oversized. The carry bag for this tent is about 3feet long or just a little shy of that. Can easily slide under your kids feet in the back seat. When they say light weight they mean it, I can lift this tent in its carry bag with just my pinky.Set up: ever get that tent made with wire that you "simply" twist and it goes back nearly in its tiny bag? ...accept it doesn't and you end up spending a half hour trying to twist it only to throw it in the trunk unfolded and you and your kids are now melting down? Sound familiar?! THIS TENT SETS UP IN UNDER A MINUTE and truely sets up with basically no effort. No connecting poles, no twisting wires. Find your spot on the beach, take it out of the bag, spread it out and unfold similar to an umbrella.....I did it on my own with no trouble at all. Only seperate parts are the stakes and ties to secure it in windy conditions. Sandbags are already attached so just fill them....that weight will allow you to then stake it down.Take down: TOTAL BREEZE! Again, fold up similar to an umbrella, lay it down and roll up as if your rolling a sleeping bag, use the clip to hold it and IT ACTUALLY FITS BACK IN THE BAG IT CAME IN!!!!! and easily fits, not stuffing it in for dear life...this is simple, easy to use!I got the one for 4 people. It's perfect! My 7 year old can stand up inside this tent. Low beach chairs will easily fit in it. There's built in pockets to hold sunscreen, chapstick, whatever. The window panel folds up for more protection or privacy. The entire front folds up as well. The floor space is definatly enough for at least one sleeping child if not two small sleeping kids. This is totally worth the money. It is well made. I have melenoma and need to stay out of the sun so all you sun bathers I would reccomend this! It doesn't feel like a cave, you can still feel like your laying in the sun without the harmful rays. Trust me, melanoma surgery is not fun, it's worth having good sun protection!!! Buy buy buy, it's worth every penny!!!

Only thing that would make this better is if it came with a shovel for the sand bags, I think my next trip I would have prefilled bags with rock or even sand. The sandbags are the only thing that is annoying about putting this away, the sand is typically damp and hard to get off completely. Also, double check the shading policies of the beach you are going to, if I had tried to use this in the summer I wouldn’t have been able to. So easy to set up and take down as one person. Attached photos show my tall chair, I’m 5’5” and was able to sit comfortably with this taller than average folding chair and a bun on top of my head. Also a large towel spread the length of the shade, definitely had it angled to catch the sun, but easy to move if needed. Also very light to carry, which I was nervous about using solo. Side windows allow perfect airflow. I hadn’t checked the weather my first day and it rained for about 2 hours. I closed up the screens and lasted an hour before the cold forced me inside but the tent kept my items dry, I say relatively dry because the side windows don’t seal completely and the top seams started dripping after time but it only dripped where the water pooled at the bottom of the screens. So if expecting heavy rain a tarp would be more useful, then you may as well be camping. The price was great, I thought even if it came apart or if I was frustrated with the mechanics of it and I’d have to leave it at my hotel it was worth it. But the quality is incredible I can’t wait to pack it, bring home, and to use again.It also had a bit of discoloration that is hard to tell in the photos.

Pros: Great tent. Easy set up. Sand does not stick to fabric! Keeps the sun off and is cool!!!!!Took it to Florida for the first trip. Light weight, fast set up and take down and really kept the sun and heat off us on a very hot day.Cons: NO DIRECTIONS! YOU MUST FIGURE THIS OUT ON YOU OWN. I practiced in the house and was able to figure it out. Set up is easy. BUT YOU MUST PULL OUT THE LEG JOINT WHEN TAKING DOWN OR YOU WILL BREAK THE LEGS. Instructions are needed. ALSO, this tent states it is for a family of 3 or 4. The truth is you can put 2 low sitting beach chairs in the tent and 2 average size persons in the tent. When sitting in a low beach chair with another person your legs will be out of the tent on the flap and in the sun. You cannot sit in the tent in reclining beach chairs or regular height chairs they will never fit. 2 average adults in small chairs with a beach bag and cooler is about the limit. If you need more space get the larger size. The description was deceiving making one think there would be much more room in the tent. I WISH I HAD PURCHASED THE LARGER TENT. That being said this is a great tent with a mesh pocket above the window, a hook in the center and windows that can close with a flap and a toggle and loop system. There is not much space to change clothes and minimal privacy. Again for changing clothes or more privacy order the larger tent.I was pleased with the protection from the sun and the ease in setting up and taking down.But beware not to break the legs. Also note the size is limited, poor description of product. BUY IT BUT GO LARGER!!

This beach tent was an ideal size for our family of five. We have three young kids, and it provided the perfect way for them to take breaks from the sun while enjoying some shade at the beach. The setup was very easy, as was the teardown. I love that it simply pops up and down, and it's compact enough to fit in our small beach wagon.
