The whole helmet is very cheaply made. I bought this for my great nephew as part of his Halloween costume, however, he was not able to wear it because it was so uncomfortable. Don’t waste your money!

Q: does this fit on a 9 year old?

It fit my 11 year old son so 9 year old should be fine. I just wished the hat circumference was wider but it was good enough for school project. :)

Q: can you remove the strap

Yes, the strap comes off easily. My toddler didn’t want the strap so we took it off.

Q: How many helmets do your get for $12.60?

One and it’s a waste of money. Cheap plastic with a very cheap net that is just thrown on it. Horrible.
