Trials of Mana (PS4)

Super fun game. The combat and magic are awesome. It's also cool about being able to mix and match 6 characters to make a party based on what types of attacks you want to use. The only downside is the English voice acting. I changed the audio to Japanese and read the subtitles, haha.

Un título cargado de aventuras y con un nombre histórico "Mana". La diversión, entretenimiento, aventuras garantizadas. Un juego que no te puedes perder si eres amante de los RPG. Excelente.

One of the best JRPGs of its time. Updated/and remade. Same stories. Same characters. New and great feel with an easy UI. I would purchase this over any new game, and I did. Square Enix just proved that they remake a classic true to the original. I hope, the #1 JRPG of all time, Chrono Trigger is next! My only complaint is that they got rid of the 2 player aspect. I understand why... but still.

I bought this because I am a huge fan of the original "Secret of Mana" and have recently purchased a PS5 which plays PS4 games as well. So this was a fantastic trip down memory lane! Literally hundreds of hours of gameplay plus the game can be played with different difficulty settings and depending on characters you choose, there are different aspects and new places to discover every time you play again. A great battle mode, fantastic graphics and a fun twist to the story at the end - you can save and keep playing with the items you have collected in the previous game for your new adventure too! I would rate this even higher than the original "Secret of Mana" which is my favourite. Would highly recommend, you get your money's worth here for sure and great for getting back into gaming after a long break.

Amateur de RPG j'ai bien apprécié ce jeu qui n'est pas trop prise de tête. Nul besoin d'un strategy guide de 200 pages, (qu'on ne trouve plus d'ailleurs: l'époque où sortait en même temps que le jeu un superbe strategy guide tout en couleurs avec tout ce qu'il fallait connaître sur le jeu semble révolue) il suffit de suivre une étoile jaune pour savoir où l'on doit aller. Les graphismes sont très beaux, reprenant ceux de Secret of Mana. On retrouve d'ailleurs beaucoup d'éléments communs avec Secret of Mana, tant au niveau des monstres que des divers accessoires (Flammie's drum entre autres.) Enfin, et cela est un plus par rapport à Secret of Mana qui ne disposait que de trois personnages, on a le choix entre six personnages, (trois garçons et trois filles: la parité est donc respectée :-) ce qui permet lorsque vous avez battu le jeu une première fois avec trois persos de commencer une nouvelle partie avec d'autres persos en New Game + en conservant (ou pas) les objets acquis au cours de la première partie. Et tout ceci avec la possibilité de choisir entre plusieurs niveaux de difficulté. En résumé un très bon achat.
