Love my P950
I retired and bought this camera for myself to take pictures of birds, critters on my daily walks/hikes. I love it. Easy to carry, easy dials to use for bird, the moon and scenery. It takes fabulous pictures without a lot of effort. I get great close ups with the zoom and have rave reviews on my pictures. If you like taking moon pictures, this camera is great. Hand held, no tri-pod necessary and the clarity of craters and colors/shadows makes me feel like I'm walking on the moon. Well worth the money for me. I've never had a photography class and I am able to take wonderful pictures. I use this camera every single day.

3 things not mentioned a lot when talking about this camera.
#1 the wide 24mm is amazing on its own. landscape/cityscape etc its incredible. #2 street photography taken to another level because you can take candid shots from a block away so the subjects have no idea they are being photographed. #3 the Macro setting is also amazing. so this one camera does so many different types of photography with one super lens. truly remarkable piece of kit. i love it.

Exactly what I was looking for
Thus camera is exactly what I was looking for. We spend a lot of time fishing and in the back country looking for wildlife. This camera takes great pictures. The zoom is amazing. We take stills and video.

I super loved it.
This is my first camera and I super loved. I don’t have any knowledge about photography but I can say it is easy to use for first timer. I loved taking pictures of the moon that’s why I bought this and it didn’t disappoint me.

Photos At a Safe Distance
I like this camera because of the zoom. It lets me avoid being one of those people that put their lives in danger by getting too close to the wild animals. I can zoom in from a safe distance, get my shot, and stay in one piece.

Är nöjd som amatör, ganska lätthanterlig dock saknar jag en manual irl. Den finns endast tillgänglig online. Jag är old school och bekväm, hade gärna velat ha den i bokform.

Great camera for travel/nature photography.
This model is now discontinued so if you're thinking about buying, act quickly. It is a good all-rounder for travel and nature photography but I wouldn't recommend for sports/action as the autofocus is a little slow and fiddly. Otherwise, a great camera.

Sehr gute Bridge Kamera mit ultra Zoom - mag kein low light.
Hallo liebe Freunde der Fotografie. Ich bin von CANON System Vollformat, mit L Objektiven umgestiegen auf diese tolle Kamera, da meine CANON einfach nicht mehr genutzt wird. Die P950 soll als stille "Geheimwaffe" dienen falls mal ne ordentliche Herausforderung ansteht. Die P950 hat schon beschriebener massen einen kleineren Sensor, auf den weniger Licht fallen wird. Trotz 2.8 ist das schon ordentlich, aber es rauscht auch schon sehr stark bei ISO Freigabe für 6400 ;-). Also besser Blitz einschalten (falls möglich). ##### Ich habe mit dieser Kam meine Liebe für die Astro-Fotografie entdeckt. Wahnsinn! was dieses Programm kann, echt clever durchdacht-leider ist mein Stativ nicht gut genug-die Feinjustierung fehlt. Fazit: Ich kann die P950 nur empfehlen! Recht klein, leicht, handlich, toller Monitor, schneller Fokus. MEGA ZOOM und Stabi-das ist echt krass! Die Bilder sind JPG!! Keine Bearbeitung oder sonstiger Schnick schnack.

Great camera, great shots, very impressed.
What a great camera. Clear shots and video. The attached video was taken from a moving boat. You can see the stability of focus and movement and the clarity of the the shot. I didn’t realise how far I had zoomed in. I have an SLR with interchangeable lenses but having a range from 24-2000 on this is very handy in not missing a shot while changing lenses. The shot of the moon is also hand held, very impressed by the detail It has managed to pick out. The overall quality, size and weight is very good. It’s not cumbersome and yet feels solid. Looking forward to taking this on many outings
