LUXURE (Sweet Taste of Honey) - Max Pecas

The Sweet Taste Of Karine Gambier...
(1976 - France) This is one of Max Pecas better exploitation flicks and stars the luscious Karine Gambier as an emotionally distraught young heiress who checks into a luxury romantic resort with thoughts of checking out - permanently. Contemplating her demise, she overhears a couple next door engaged in sexual escapades, so she goes outside in the resort, but everyone there is getting it on, usually in front of her. This reawakens her own considerable sexual desires, so she begins fantasizing about the groom next door, the bellhop, and a few of the Eurobabes staying there. These lustful yearnings restore her to life, thus abandoning the idea of suicide. The flick is decent, but when you watch the additional 30 minutes of hardcore footage (which is how I saw it back in the glory days of grindhouse cinema sleaze) you're finally getting the treat you were hoping for, and then some. 70's sleaze that's guaranteed to please. Karine Gambier has a voracious appetite in these scenes and is a joy to behold. If you're a fan, try to find copies of 'Voodoo Passion' and 'Women In Cell Block 9', both by Jess Franco, and feature her prominently. She's absolutely wicked.
