Klein Tools 53721 Flex Bit Kit with 9/16-Inch x 54-Inch Flex Bit Auger, Placement Tool and Wire Pulling Grip for Pulling Wire Behind Walls

The pulling grip (cat. no. kps050) is made where it will not attach to the drill bit, I will have to wire it to the bit? if I wanted that I would tape it and not need this pull. the end of the clip on the pull will not fit into the hole of the drill bit. The drill bit is not machined or forged looks to be molded and not a great mold at that and I don't think it is sharp and the thread that pulls the bit into the wood is rounded and the end that fits into the drill is machined but poorly? For Klein I would say it is a knock off or I will stop buying Klein tools; they aren't cheap tools they are made for professionals . the Placement Tool is made to lock open but I had to bend it a little to get it to lock. what is with this Klein set? Klein very disappointed with this, no better then cheap homeowner tools?

I've used flex bits for about 10 years now and this ones just about the same. I'll add on to this after its done a few dozen drills. I like the angle handle that was with it though. It works great for the flex bit or any pull rods you need to get a nice 90 degree turn done in a tight space. Haven't used the little wire mesh piece yet. Don't know if I ever will. Electrical tape is cheap and works great for me.

I received 2 of the three pieces of the product SKU. I did not receive the drill bit.  Klein Tools 53721 Flex Bit Kit, 3-Piece As the drill-bit is a vital component of this product SKU, it did not feel correct to leave any more than two stars.I hope that the reviewers see this oversight and resend the bit and the bit was there reason for purchasing this product.

With this set all of the components needed to fish a wall are there, you don't have to "rig" something together. Adding an Extension is my only recommendation to speed up the process tremendously.One tip; this is a 3/16 inch shank, if you do order an extension make sure it is not a 1/4 inch shank.

The bit broke off on the first use. The drill tip remained permanently embedded into the wood, a standard wood for framing used in an over-fifty-year-old house. It certainly looks like a fault in the material; the place where the bit joins the flexible part is a weak point. It might have been a faulty product, but I would not recommend it. Too expensive to try again.

Great product. Used it to drill several holes through the native lumber in our 100 year old home.

Junk used to break through a fire block and gave up made a hole in the wall where it was to drill. When I flex it it gets stuck and constantly have to readjust to even move not worth it.
