Fix my water pump in a few minutes, great price!

Exact replacement, wired right up!

I replacing a capacitor that blown out. Without one the pump need a surge in power to start it.Hooking it up is easy just hooks each wire up bipolar their ain't no wrong way? When using wire-nut wrap electrical tape (black or other colors) or (Liquid tape Electrical Tape, allow to dry) on the ends of each and around each wire nut to make them some what waterproof (sweating, or moisture can damaged them by shorten out) which happen to OEM Capacitor cramps-nut isn't water tight.

I couldn't find an exact match size-wise locally. Most of what I found locally was too big to fit into the protective plastic housing for the 1HP water pump's electronics. I came across this capacitor and opted to try it, having the exact size dimensions, as well as the 40mF and 250VAC specs being an exact match, but slightly varying on the "temperature" specs (original was 25/85/21, this one is 25/70/21). Upon installation of the capacitor and a new voltage regulator, the system fired up and is running well. Hopefully this will last a long time. Should anything happen, I'll update the feedback.

Capacitor for a Harbor freight sprinkler pump. Worked well. I h ad to cut out the old one but put connectors that will make it easier. Original lasted 2 years.
