i use this for tightlining the bottom lash line. i like it because it doesnt look like too big of a pop or super unnatural but does make a difference. yay

I love that it doesn't smudge under my eyes. It stays put until I wash it off. I have tried many other brands, and this is the only one I like. I also love the color, which is hard to find. I had to order it off Amazon, and paid a lot for it, compared to the other colors that the stores carry. I wish I could buy it in my local stores, but I guess they no longer carry that particular color. A negative is that it is very hard to sharpen. I have the sharpener that Maybelline sent me, but the color breaks and it's hard to keep a point. I waste a lot of the product just trying to sharpen it.

I randomly bought this in electric blue because it was pretty cheap as an add-on. Most of the time, I won't even bother with drug-store level eye make-up. Normally cheap eyeliner is either super dry and hard to apply or vanishes in two hours. My go-to eyeliners these days are Tarte's Maneater if I want liquid or Urban Decay's 24/7 for regular pencil.So speaking of UD 24/7, I realized as soon as I got this that it looked just like a 24/7 liner. When I applied, it went on as smoothly as a 24/7. I'd even argue it's marginally less soft than the 24/7 version so maybe, just maybe it's a slightly better product.I'm going to try a few more colors before I'm willing to claim it's an exact UD 24/7 dupe but it certainly seems like it's a strong possibility!Since people are asking about sharpeners, I use the Benefit All-Purpose sharpener. It's like $5 at Sephora or Ulta.

What a horrible design. I've already returned one of these and, thinking I just got a defective one, ordered another one. I'll be returning this too. After the tip is used and goes below the plastic, you can't get any more to come up, despite the twisting part at the bottom (which would indicate you could twist more up). Many people say to sharpen it but the plastic part around the tip is so hard, I don't see how you could sharpen it.It's a good product for the 4-5 uses I got out of it, I really liked how it looked and it stayed on for a long time...but it should last much longer!

I got this for doing ipl hair removal at home. I needed something to cover moles to prevent them from damage. The color is accurate and pigmented. It’s very waterproof at least elsewhere on the skin. I had to scrub to get it off so I would think it is smudge resistant on the eyes. My one fault for the product is how easily it broke. I was unable to use the majority of the product as a result and that alone has made me hesitant to purchase another one.

I've never gone wrong with Maybelline. This one has a nice creamy texture, it goes on smoothly and stays on all day. I was surprised at the longevity in the wear. It didn't feel like it was going to last when I put it on, but one application lasted me from 9am to 4pm. I bought it to apply to my lower lash line in order to look more alert and awake. As I am extremely pale it works well. All that being as it is Maybelline is a favorite for me when it comes to eye makeup regardless. I never have to worry about irritation or allergic reaction. They just make good products.

This particular eyeliner pencil is in a color I couldn't completely replicate, I tried five, or six copper metallic shades from other brands & none of them compared to your copper stick. This metallic shade is sooo gorgeous, truly beautiful & worn on my light blue eyes, its s color combo that turns heads. The price wasn't bad at all. It goes on easily, but when it needs to be sharpened to reapply, it can start to tug & pull when dull, as it also likes to get on my lower lashes, leading to more mascara applied. This eyeliner is a jewel.
