Long Distance - The Best Of Runrig

After a family holiday to Scotland and absolutely loving the country, we watched a driving through the Highlands you tube video and Loch Lomand by Runrig was featured. I liked it so much I bought this CD. Finding Runrigs music is one of the best things to come out of the holiday. They are simply amazing. Their music finds a place, it seems to me in all hearts. It is 'rocky', country, smooth, and original all at the same time. The lyrics are meaningful, the instruments played magnificently and the vocals superb. All the tracks are excellent with the live Loch Lomand to finish the cd so special and different it demands to be replayed again and again!I am sorry I took so long to find them, but now I have I shall always stay a fan. If you havent't listened to Runrig before, buy this album and be converted to the cause, and if your aready won over and haven't added it to your colletion I urge you to do so, quickly!!

cd is sticking or jumping on a couple of tracks

I am a new follower of Runrig, when I read of the combinination of rock and folk it sold it to me. I wasn't disapointed and have gone on to purchase 2 other albums in a matter of days. I am sure both my sons will be impressed by their stocking fillers purchased for Christmas 2012

Good cd lost other one

This album was my first introduction to Runrig and it had me hooked straight away. It prompted me to buy a couple of albums, including this one and I haven't stopped playing them. Now a fan for life.
