According to the owner's manual, the Universal accessory Adapter is the metal washer included with the kit. I received 2 of these and they seem like ordinary metal washers you sort of trap under the lip of the quick release plunger per the picture (Fig 8) on page 14. Has anyone tried this? Seems like the washer would vibrate out of position.

Is this tool compatible to "universal oscillating saw blades on the market?

I have ordered other blades for mine from Amazon and they work fine.

Will this tool help remove tile backsplash easier then a hammer/chisel approach? If so, does the tool come with the attachment that would be needed?

I have not tried the you are asking about, but I have used the scraping tool (included with the purchase) on removing of wood products. I think it might work the same for removing tile and grout. I hope this helps
