Trash, do not buy.
The laceless boa system broke after a couple months of light use and leather coming apart with proper care as well. The customer service for Zamberlan is garbage as well. I have been trying to contact them for warranty for at least a year now and have received no response or help from their end.

The Boa Lacing System Works
I bought these boots to try the BOA lacing system. It works.Getting boots to the right tightness and keeping them there. Boots always seem to loosen a little. Stopping to tighten would take minutes. Just live with a little looseness. Now when the boots loosen, turn the dial and tighten them. Takes a couple of seconds.First use was a 2.5 hour trip, walking the streets to the rocky foothills and loop home. Comfortable. 3 times walking along lost in thought, I forgot that I was breaking in new boots.Zamberlans fit me true to size. 11.5 D. Roomy enough for 2 pairs of socks right out of the box.The sole is a little narrow compared to my other hiking boots. It made for an agile, surefooted boot with excellent surface grip. The midweight 9 inch tall boot has the lateral support I want and need.It was a successful first outing for the Boa Boots.

Amazing boots!
I really like these boots! I’ve had them for a couple days now. From day 1 they fit perfectly I got size 10.5 D and what I really like is the heel support. This is the first boot I’ve ever bought that really keeps your foot nice and snug it’s amazing. The cable system is a beautiful design I just may never need laces again haha. $440 is a lot of money though.
