Black Tea & Fig 4 oz Refill for Oil Diffuser with Fig, Violet, Vanilla, & More Notes

For reference, I recently within the last 12 years started buying high-end SUVs now that I'm a grown mama and want all of the luxury. There's a place in Portland Oregon called DC motors and I bought a couple Audis from them. Every time I go into their showroom it smells amazing. Almost like a sandalwood musky Cedar smell. I'm not good at describing since so bear with me. The scent description is on the paperwork that it comes with. I asked the manager what that smell was and he said that he orders in bulk a fragrance from Aroma retail. I went home and looked it up and there it was on Amazon. I ordered first directly from the company and I bought a home unit in my entire house smells so good. This is my absolute favorite fragrance but I have purchased other fragrances from them during different seasons of the year. They have one in the fall that smells like pumpkin spice. Starbucks vibes. I highly recommend it, it's non-toxic even and that's so wonderful because I have a dog and cats, and a kiddo who don't need to be breathing in toxins. I got myself a card diffuser and a couple plug-in diffusers as well since then. I can't say enough about this scent and the company that makes it. Great customer service.

I do like the fragrance, but it's not very strong, seems to disparate quickly

My understanding is that Edition Hotel's signature scent is made by Le Labo and is supposed to be close to their Thé Noir 29 fragrance. Thé Noir 29 smells nothing like this Aroma Retail scent, in my opinion. Aroma Retail's scent smells much, much better. Lighter, fresher, more livable (it's not *light* but is lightER than the Le Labo). Thé Noir 29 (and I do not own it so I could be mis-remembering) is very heavy, masculine, and smoky from the cedar. In contrast, AR's Black Tea & Fig is rich, complex, and fruit-sweet without being cloying. Tobacco without the smoke. I really love it. I tried dozens of blotter testers from AR and have tried several of the oils in a diffuser and this is my favorite.

This smells like a cheap Christmas scent. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THE EDITION. I'm so disappointed. I smells like black pepper; it's way too spicy and it's so overwhelming. Its giving me a headache. I shook it which did weaken the pepper scent but not enough. 🤮

I have had other brands and this one was off. Even if I add more of the oil or less to it does smell the same.

Smells exactly like that signature scent and will take you right back. Love love love this product.
