AutelScanner MaxiCOM MK900, 2024 Upgrade from Autel MK808S & MaxiCheck MX900 Bidirectional Scan Tool, 40+ Service All System Diagnostic Tool

Ok so I started a side business during all this COVID-19 craziness where I offer in home car diagnostics and small repairs. I was originally using a cheap little scanner, then I had to Google what the issue was and the put together a little presentation for the customer and so on.I started making some good money, so I decided to upgrade to this bad boy. Ohhhh man, this thing is amazing, it's a full on tablet AND scanner. So I'm able to do EVERYTHING all on this device. The only thing extra I do is turn on my phone's hotspot so I have WiFi for the scanner.I'm able to easily run a full and detailed diagnostic scan of the entire vehicle in just a couple seconds, diagnose the issue, send the report to the customer and move on all within a few minutes. If it's a repair I can do I am able to send the info to them on top of all the other items.So on to the pros:-tablet is light weight, sturdy, and the battery lasts me all day as long as I charge it while driving.-its a full on tablet AND scanner-its easy to use-comes in a protective, professional looking case, that is very high quality-user manual is simple and easy to follow-has an entire separate case for the adapters, so you can scan any vehicle, no matter the make.-auto scans the VIN!!!Cons:-can take a second to boot up, but isn't that bad-you'll want to buy a screen protectorOverall:This thing is worth every penny, got here in two days with the Amazon shipping, and the packaging was perfect, even if the box was completely destroyed it would have made it safely because of the very nice cases and individual item straps in the cases. So your investment is protected! This scanner/tablet has significantly increased my speed and flexibility with my side gig, so if you're someone who scans lots of cars, you need this thing in you life lol 🤣

I know he makes some good money, so I didn’t hesitate to spend some on my own professional equipment. A googled and talked to my friend, and then decided to pick this device for several good reasons.First of what you need to make sure when you buy a scanner is that it can work with the latest year cars. This one has been tested on 2019 Ford F-150. And they say the soft will update to support 2020 as well.Secondly, you need to make sure the tool covers a wide variety of makes and models, including American, European and Asian cars. This one has been successfully tested on a Mercedes, Ford and Toyota so far.Also, this tool has its own power source, so you’re independent from a vehicle’s accumulator.This particular model (and my car dealer friend said it’s a common thing) requires an internet connection (I just make a hotspot on my phone) to access some features and update software. It’s also best to have it during the initial setup when creating an Autel profile.Lastly, it’s plug-and-play easy to use kit. But if you’re scared, you can take a look at the comprehensive guide that comes with the case.Oh and the case (actually 2 cases – for the device and plugs) itself is very firm and safe. The majority of the plugs are used for the older cars, the newer years have few modifications that are also provided ofcourse.And ofcourse, what’s most important is the ability to read different error codes, interpret them and provide a report. The tests you can run with this tool cover all and everything you can do with a scanner.I was thinking about what cons I could name, probably none, but there are always ways to improve, such as user interface, which is fine as it is, but sure why not make it even better!Total score: 5/5

I love this product as we have 6 vehicles, different makes and models from antique to new, cars to trucks and SUVs. We do pretty much all of our own work. If you don't know anything about vehicles, buy a simpler model or you won't know what to do with this. I've always wanted one and I'm glad I got one.

Before I recieved the product it became $100 cheaper. Tried to message seller but wouldnt respond. Have a screen shot even of price changed on amazon. Product is good but really disappointed in seller.

He realizado pruebas en tres marcas diferentes de autos al momento y realiza las funciones de diagnóstico y servicio correctamente y de manera muy completa con gráficas, etc.Espero me funcioné igualmente en otros vehículos y ya veremos en cuanto duración como sale al pasar los años pero se ve y siente de buena calidad.Es fácil usarla pero aún pudieran mejorarse los menús de servicio para que fueran más claros ya que al seleccionar una opción para activar alguna función esta última aparece duplicada en el menú, una seleccionable por ejemplo para encender y apagar una luz y la otra no seleccionable relacionada a la misma función. Nada que afecte de una manera importante.Un aspecto que no me gustó es que no tiene bocina, solo buzzer, hay una sección para ver entrenamientos y los reproduce pero sin audio, no he probado si estando conectado al auto el audio se escuche en las bocinas del mismo pero esto fue lo único que no me gustó, si hubieran incluido esa bocina la herramienta sería perfecta.En general es muy buena herramienta y la volvería a comprar.
