this little gadget gets the job done
Bought this little gadget with the idea of turning my existing 1 TB portable drive into a network accesible storage (NAS) and also a media library for my smart TV.I didn’t want to spend a 100 or so dollars behind a NAS as my requirements were pretty basic. I was not sure when I bought this of how I was going to achieve my objective as there were very little tech spec as well as no review about the product. So here it goes.I hooked it up to my network with the ethernet cable that was lying around in my house. Then with the included micro usb to usb A cable I was able to hook it up with my TV and the included SD card popped up in my media library. Then very tentatively I connected my USB enclosured 1 TB HDD to the usb port not sure if the device would be able to take the load or not. Turned out I did not need to worry.Now whatever videos, photos I wanna see on my TV from my computer I am able to upload on the drive and see it. I am not a tech wizard or anything but for the simple tasks mentioned above this little gadget gets the job done.In short if you have an existing usb HDD and you want to turn it into an NAS this is the go to gadget. Don't listen to all the negatives about privacy sharing and all that. This is a nice little gadget for the price.

Device will work w/128GB flash memory
It is early yet in our relationship, but wanted to say that I have confirmed this device will work with up to a 128GB flash memory. I'm looking forward to freeing up a LOT of space on multiple phones. Less clear whether the "six simultaneous wifi connections" hot-spot is better than what my phone already does... more to come!
