The automatic movement on the Limited Edition (only 400 made) Superlative Star Black Sapphire Black Ion Plated watch marks a new and important chapter in Xoskeleton’s history. The new caliber, XOS1859, with 21 jewels to reduce friction and a power reserve of 36 hours, a Geneva patterned main-plate and a Swiss-Made mainspring creates an even more striking look. The smoothness and torque of the movement glides the seconds hand effortlessly around the dial, while the rotor moves gracefully and efficiently – never needing a battery. The dial is enhanced with the new X logo which is painstakingly CAD-cut in 3D and hand placed with prongs. The hour markers are filled with Swiss super-luminova and are hand placed with prongs, accentuating the luxuriant dial. The extra thick mountain-cut, hour and minute hands have been upgraded to the highest quality and rivaled only by the exquisite 3D, X logo on the end of the seconds’ hand. Eight (8) black round, brilliant cut sapphires jewels are meticulously positioned and pressure mounted between the watchcase and “O” ring, and supported with eight connectors. Additional features include matted knurling on the “O” ring, knurled center links on the seven piece bracelet, Sapphire cambered crystal, anti-reflective on undersurface, luminous hands and hour markers, date calendar at the 3 o'clock position, water resistant to 100 meters and a single deployment closure with locking safety clasp.
