These work great on our dogs...fits our Yorkie better. I put vet wrap on our pom's collar to fit his neck better...he's smaller. Our Yorkie stopped the annoying barking immediately....waiting to see how Pom's will work since fit adjustment...am expecting good results. Will still bark if someone comes to door but stops. LOVE having more peace in the house...not barking at every little noise now. Have not cut the excess off yet...folded and put rubber band on.

I have tried several things to get my Cavaliers to stop barking on walks and nothing was working. I am not a fan of a shock collar so thought I would give this a try. I am so glad I did!! On day two of my dogs having this on a loose dog came up to us on our walk and unbelievably no barking, I couldn't believe it!! It does really scare my one Cavalier but it is definitely effective, when he hears the first beep he stops barking. My other Cavalier doesn't seem to be as sensitive to the beep or vibration but her barking has calmed down as well. Definitely recommend!!

My Mom adopted a 4.5lb yorkie from the shelter that constantly barks at anything that walks past her apartment. I purchased this as an alternative to a true shock collar to curb his behavior.The collar does work as described, it is easy to use and most importantly it fits on his tiny neck. The only downside is the unit itself is a big on his neck, but not obtrusive.The collar has not curbed his barking habits, but he is a pretty stubborn pup. I think half of the problem is my Mom does not work on the training that is needed to go along with the correction collar.You can't just put it on their neck and expect miracles. They need to be worked with and taught what the correction means.

I wanted this to work since our dog responds very well to a remote collar we have (tone only) but this collar does not work, at all. It will hold a charge and the tone will sound if we adjust the sensitivity of the collar, but no matter the sensitivity, the tone NEVER goes off no matter how long or loud our dog barks. It’s snug against his neck. I guess we just got a lemon. Would send it back but we had already cut the collar to size it. Will just have to look at other collars.

I bought this because it was one of the few that was small enough that I could find for my five pound five year old Maltese. He is a rescue and my God would not stop barking at everything! I do not believe in returning an animal, we adopt for life but something had to be done it was making it very hard to adjust. It works fine, really a bit hard to turn on and off and holds a charge for about 8 hrs but that is fine as they are not meant to be worn 24 /7. I had to cut the collar once I knew we would keep it to make it smaller. He had to wear it every day for a few hrs but soon learned it’s vibration and noise in addition to me firmly saying NO BARK went hand in hand. He rarely wears it now because he has learned and if he refuses to stop the minute I pick it up and show him there is no more barking. For the money, it’s good though like I said wished was smaller and easier to turn on and off. You have to hold power button for a few seconds.

Having recently adopted a small, somewhat “barky” dog, I was glad to find this collar for little dogs. It is attractive and the initial test of it worked (beeps, vibration). But after about a week, I couldn’t figure out why it was off when I checked it, when I was sure I had turned it on before putting it on my dog. I tested it again, The light would glow green with the beep, but then turn red. Thinking it needed re-charging, I plugged it in overnight (being able to re-charge is a good feature), but unfortunately, nothing changed. Perhaps I just happened to get one that slipped by quality control and this is not an issue for others, but I was disappointed.

Love this my dog has stopped barking incessantly. I just ordered two more for my other two dogs. Does not hurt the dog as i tried it myself . He doesn’t like the beep so he never gets to vibration.

What I liked is the fact that it doesn’t shock them. I don’t believe in that. It works and this is my second one so I always have a spare.
