Volume I, Pocket

Beautiful book. We received this as a gift many years ago and we have continually used it and been encouraged by it as a guide and starting place in prayer- for both every day needs and big life moments. We now give it as a wedding gift regularly, encouraging couples to grown in a life of dependent, constant prayer together. We also enjoy the additional volumes as sweet companions to this one.

I appreciated this book as I dug deeper into prayer and fasting. It gave me a frame work for praying. I bought vol 1 and volume 2. I did some.prayer journaling during my daughter's cancer journey. It was meaning full.

In a nutshell: this is the book I come to time and again and gift to friends for any occasion! I tried loaning it out a couple times, but it never lasted long because I found myself needing it within the first week it was borrowed. Beautiful book with beautiful words and illustrations. I love the verses in every margin. The entire series is spectacular. When at a loss for words, I open up a liturgy and read it to myself or aloud with the family. We've also used it to center everyone or bring everyone together in the beginning or end of a group gathering.

I bought this as a gift for my mom for her birthday. She liked the gift. It was just as i expected. I have seen these and used them before, and it was the same things as ones you would buy from a store. I love all the variety of liturgies that it has. It can be fun to read through and laugh at some. Yet, it reminds you that you can pray and bring any situation to God.

I think this is one of my most favorite purchases ever. The book is absolutely beautiful. I love the extensive variety of prayers and the quality of the cover.

Covers a vast number of instances where prayers can and should be applied. While I might at one point in my life have viewed this book as “over-spiritualizing,” I now see it as a resource to find beauty in the small things, and to cultivate a heart that is humbled before God in the big and small moments.

A beautiful book, amazing as a gift or to have out on your coffee table to remind you to access it.

This is such a wonderful book to read randomly throughout the day, rather than in just one sitting.. and I love the smooth cover! I'm so glad that I purchased a print copy.

I love the book, it is exactly for the purpose I bought it

I have already bought several copies of the book and given them away as presents. It is beautifully bound in a leather type cover, the illustrations are simple and lovely, but the prayers for just about every possible scenario in our daily lives are just perfect. I have always had difficulty in my prayer-life, having been brought up on the cathecism and prayer book of my denomination. Prayer is supposed to be a conversation with our Heavenly father, but I never quite got the hang it. This book has shown me how. I just love this book.
