This workbook accompanies Oxford English: An International Approach Vol1. The workbook cannot be used on its own.Although not essential, this workbook definitely enhances the use of the textbook. It provides structured space to enable a child to respond to the exercises in the book (avoiding the 'blank page' panic of less experienced writers). It also extends the questions and exercises in the textbook.The series is written for children with English as their second language, but I've found the subject matter, clarity of language and layout of vol1 textbook and workbook ideal for children who are not keen writers or who have dyslexic-type issues. As a home educator it has been ideal for one-to-one and small group education.
