I bought these because the Cat 7 ethernet cable was recommended in the User Manual of my brand new Samsung TV. Cat 7 is the state of the art over Cat 5 and Cat 6 ethernet cables. Are they really necessary for home theater systems? I don't know, but my User Manual said to use Cat 7 (TV to internet connection). So, I am using these for "hard wire" internet connection for my modem and router and for my internet connections to my brand new 4K, 3D Smart devices: TV and blu-ray player. I bought this length especially for the purpose of customizing and reducing wire and cable clutter. Perfect. I am not an engineer, but these cables appear to me to be of the highest quality and standard that I have ever seen. Somewhat pricey, but do you get what you pay for?

I'm not the sort of guy that can give explicit reasons why you'd choose this cable over any other; all I usually use ethernet for anymore is connecting my router to my modem and my hue hub to my router, and the hue hub probably doesn't need any great amazing cable to do so; I just let it use the (Cat. 5e) cable it came with. But even sometimes in cases where I don't know much (or anything, really) about the underlying tech, I just like to have the latest and greatest in case it might provide me with some advantage, whether now or someday. And Cat. 7 sounded better to me than the Cat. 5 cables I've been using forever (plus these had largely positive reviews and looked nice and like they might be a more advanced animal, with their flat cabling and their gold-plated (or at least gold-colored) plugs), so I bought a couple of these. And while they haven't made a practical difference in the speed of my connection or anything like that, they certainly haven't slowed it down any. And they're not expensive! So I'm content. :)

Had a typical ethernet cable from the standard Internet company and notice a difference greatly. Since I had to always disconnect just to access Discord chat or speed up my internet to my PC (Yes I checked my router it wasn't the problem). So it does the job great.

thought i ordered 2 pack 6.5 feet wound up with 2 pack 1 meter be careful how to order. Very nice cable otherwise works for me just a little tight. Bumped up my internet speed by at least by at least 100 mbits 200mbps on the faster computer. well worth it. Using cat 8 from routerr to switch then cat 7 from switch to computer. Went from 8 to 7 to save a little money. Nice increase 1gb comcast. 915mbs to iMac 3.4 gh 50 feet away.

Made a huge difference in performance for my network when I changed out and went Lan 7 cables. I regularly upload large quantities of photos to a server for my contract work. Uploads and DL are much faster, streaming video never caches, even on wireless.

My home had cat5e cables from the ISP and our speed was rated at 100mbps which we were getting maybe 50mbps but when I upgraded all the cables to the cat7 I know get the rated speed from my ISP of 100mbps almost all the time! Note this will it increase you internet speed as a whole it will just get you to the ISP rated speed you are paying for!!

I'm still using them, and they haven't broken yet.

Able to keep the signal strong and clear for my PS4 and smart tv. I stream tv and play games online and use a lot of data these cables have no lag or latency issues. Reliable signal. Great performance. Satisfied customer, will recommend to friend and buy more as needed
