Keeps Japanese beetles out!
Bought several of these to keep June bugs - aka Japanese beetles out of my rose bushes. Worked great! Sun and rain can still get through.

Nice but smaller
This is very nice and works well but it is smaller than I expected it to be. I should have gotten one a little larger but would definitely buy this again just bigger

Solid material poor design
The material these are made off is solid but the design is like a flat sack. Whereas all plants tend to be round. So its hard to drape it over a regular tree and try to seal the bottom They should add a circular or even square base piece which will cover the crown of the tree. That will make if much more versatile. Note while this was effective against birds and squirrels, rats chewed through one portion of the cover on my plum tree.

Great for insect protection
I have 2 crepe Myrtle trees about 5ft tall that were being dessicated by Japanese beetles. After giving up on spray treatments, I purchased these to place over them for 2 months. It keeps the Japanese beetles off and gave my tree babies time to produce leaves and blooms to recover from extensive leaf damage that those lil bastardites were causing.

size of netting
It wouldn't fit over the tree. Very hard to handle and we got the biggest size

Works
Kept the cicadas and squirrels away from the tree. Had to make sure the flowers had time to be pollinated so that we had apples
