The book starts out very interesting with many treasure ships lost. Then as a previous reader states it turns into a novel. There are many credits stated but I wonder how much of the story is really factual.

A very deeply researched novel about an exciting period of Spanish history. You'll appreciate the compelling story of characters who experienced life during the unforgiving times of the early 1700's.

I was expecting a history. It is a novel. Likely not a Pulitzer. Could not finish it.
