I have 3 other bolsters from 2 other companies. Florensi’s is the best one. I have the light blue to blend with the decor of my living room (now also my part time yoga studio) and 2 Florensi light blue meditation cushions that do double duty as floor cushions on the open side of my coffee table. Why do I prefer this bolster to the others? The cover is dense and soft against my skin and looks rich. It zips off for machine washing. The carry handle is lovely and does not protrude. The filling is stiff enough for support in yin and restorative poses without without feeling unwieldy. It is supportive without collapsing (in forward fold with bolster angled, and when placed on top of a block to angle bolster for lying back on it in a semi reclined butterfly, for example). And it’s relatively lightweight. Size works out perfectly for me (I’m 5’7”, weight 130 lb.). My other rectangular large bolster is a bit longer and wider and very nice, but it collapses a bit. Florensi’s bolster just feels better for heart openers. And although I have a long, narrow bolster for them, usually I prefer Florensi's bolster. And the customer service is responsive and superb. I had purchased a gray meditation cushion which and also wanted the light blue ones which were out of stock. Florensi kept me up to date with the restocking information and then promptly shipped them to me. I’m gifting the gray one to one of my beloved yoga teachers for her birthday in August. Florensi’s products are top quality. Someone disliked the zipper, I noticed, but I don’t have any reason to believe that it won’t wear well especially because the cover fits well and smooth, not skimpy or stretched over the filling. Also, zero odor. Very important to me. Feels fresh z as nd clean. If you need a bolster or 2, buy this one first. Then Florensi probably will become your go-to bolster supplier. Now I’m thinking to gift my twin 8 year old grandsons the weighted blankets for the winter holidays. These days, with so much tension and uncertainty surrounding us, Florensi’s bolster and meditation cushion help to provide comfort initially to my body and that trickles into my soul. Cheers!

When I got this in July 2020 it was still a new product on Amazon. I bought the gray version and it came in two layers of packaging. The exterior is velvety, smooth, but not too soft. I had been the owner of the Florensi meditation cushion (the round thing in the pictures), which came highly recommended and had been used by me and my cat to sit and stand on. The Yoga Bolster, for those who also have used the meditation cushion, has a firmer touch and a more solid constitution (probably because their insides are different). The bolster can be used for all kinds of moves. And while it is may be too tall and firm (unless you like that) to be used as a pillow to rest your head on to sleep (except for perhaps a large dog), it works pretty well as a foot rest at the computer desk. For that it is wide enough and evenly firm. I would prefer that the zipper be more solidly built than it is, though it's not a big problem. I do like Florensi's customer support. They are quick to respond and are helpful and professional.

I absolutely love this bolster for all its perfection. There’s a hidden zip for removing the super soft blue cover. Perfect size for me and I love how the fabric feels to touch. A true joy! I’m finding versatile uses with my teaching and personal practice. I love propping my back to make that lovely opening of my heart and also planting it under the knees when laying down to take the curve out of my spine creating a nice straight alignment during Yoga Nidra. The company has cleverly attached a 25% discount to the handy carry strap on the end of the bolster. Sturdy and durable. It travels with me wherever I take my practice in and out of the studio. Excellent, very comfortable. Too expensive. Maybe it's twice as good as a normal one but at three times the cost. Also, for people who care, it's very soft compared to most, more like a pillow, which makes it great for lying on and back stretches but detracts a bit from the fitness desired for sitting/bolstering

This is my first pregnancy and I tried several maternity pillows the first trimester. None of them worked for me, this was recommended and it has been excellent. I use it to stretch and to sleep. Because it maintains its shape, I can sleep on my side; my hips stay aligned not putting extra pressure.

Beautiful, and useful bolster. I use it in my restorative yoga practice. It is supportive, but not hard, like some others. I also like that is made in the United States, by a women supportive company.

You Will Not Be Disaapointed With This Bolster.Was Very Happy With the Stability and Comfort Of This Bolster.. Higher Priced But I Feel Worth It…

Using this bolster for Yin yoga and it is very comfortable while still being sufficiently supportive. It’s not too heavy (as some are) so it’s easy to carry to my class. I do think all the bolsters are quite expensive, including this one.
