Having a blast
I love darts. Bought this so I wouldn't have steel tip darts thrown with the little grandkids running around. Always wondered why it would make sense to pay so much for a board with there are cheaper models available. Now I know. This was a great board. The darts come out easily. Can't say that about my previous, cheap board. The heckler mode adds some fun. Love the number of games. This was my birthday/Father's day gift, and I am super happy.

Lots of bounce outs and slightly slower voice compared to Arachnid 600 - otherwise good
We bought this to replace our older Arachnid 600 which was actually totally fine other than the 600 can only display 2 players scores at a time, then you have to click "player page" to see players 3&4, or again for 5&6, etcl. Having ability to see 4 players at a time is huge benefit, the screen/scoring is much improved. Ability to see score from each individual dart is also a huge plus. The games are the same as what we are used to with our 600 but button placement is just a little different so still getting used to it, but we do have two complaints 1) Way more bounce-outs, 2) Voice sounds a little slow1) The bounce outs - this is the biggest frustration, we are getting wayyyy more bounce-outs now than we did with our previous arachnid 600 that I just pulled off the wall to hang the new 800 in our basement. Same darts, same tips, same distance, same players, no changes except the dartboard changed from Arachnid 600 to the 800. Each game I think we are probably averaging 30-50% bounce-outs, which is crazy. We always used to not count if a dart bounced out (by hitting "bounce out" button), but with the 800 that's no longer reasonable because so many are bouncing out. We play couple rounds of cricket a couple of nights per week, not pro but not newbs with poor form. We have a handful of different dart sets and different tips (tips from Lippoint, Viper, Bullout, some other un-branded) and the longer skinnier tips with grip like the Lippoint seem to be maybe sliiightly better, but we are used to using whichever tips we want with consistent/rare bounce-outs in our 600. Glad I didn't sell my 600 yet, might be putting it back. I'm hoping maybe the 800 is just so new that perhaps the new plastic or some sort of coating is just too slippery. We've had for a month and still a bit frustrated. Your mileage may vary.2) Voice sound - this is minor, but strange, the voice prompts from the 800, for things like "next player" or voicing the scoring, seems like the recording is slower pitchd just a little more than our last dartboard. It sounds like in the movies when a criminal or villain tries to use a slow/mysterious voice-over on a phone call to disguise their voice, instead of saying "Triple Twenty" it's more like "Trippppllle Twennnthhyyy" in a slightly deeper pitched voice. It's not quite that bad, but definitely noticeably slower than our 600. Tolerable, but weird.Overall) We will probably still keep this one, i'm hoping once a little more dust or dart-play will maybe scuff up all the holes enough that they stick better. Until then, I'm keeping my Arachnid 600 in a box just in case we get too frustrated sometime but really want to play I can just swap 'em back. Final verdict still TBD, but wanted to provide honest opinion to anyone considering.

Received a used, broken and damaged Board.
Bought a Cricket Pro 800. Not cheap. Original box tape was open. When I took the contents out of the box, 1. the darts were half put together and not in original bag. 2. the flights were clearly used and ripped. 3. The AC adaptor was not bagged or boxed, and half the cord was unwound from original tie. 4. Mounting screws had drywall dust on them from the last person that used this board. Now let's get to the board itself. 1. The AC adaptor port was so loose, every time I touched the cord the game would turn on and off. 2. When the game was on there were cricket lights that were on and never shut off and the player lights were all on no matter how many players I selected. That being said, I believe that Arachnid should be a good dart board and that this is just an internal quality control issue. I will be returning it today and ordering a new one. I will update this review based on the customer service I received and the quality of the new dart board.

I have owned several generation of this board but t thus is by far the best version. Love how easy it is to choose and start games. No regrets.

Versatile, good quality.
Playing darts during family events has been a tradition for decades. This is by far the best aoft tip board any of us have owned. The ease of use, the number of games and the scoring display. Easter was the first large gatheri g using this board, I'm sure a few family members will be upgradng their boards now.
