I was looking for a hands-free and easy clear access when listening to my iPod! Just what I was looking for. The case is lightweight and the adjustable lanyard is the perfect solution for carrying my iPod when walking. And there's easy access to the charging port!

My Complaint:I thought I was buying a new product, I suppose I bought this case used and wasn't paying attention. This product came unboxed, no product information such as C.O.O. [country of origin], California warning, et al.I am bothered by the sticky residue on the entirety of iPod Touch case. It gave me a feeling that it was in the 'sell' pile from some hoarder's house. If my son gets sick from whatever contaminate that is stuck to this case, who do I contact for retribution? WHO!Pic 1: Unknown sticky residue on the touch screen overly.Pic 2: Damage or manufacture defect on the back plate in the camera lens overlay near the inner edge.Pic 3: Outside view of the port bank (speaker port, charging port, 3.5 headphone jack port). No damage.Pic 4: Inside/behind the port bank. Port cover feels like silicon, plugs have tiny built-in gaskets to seal. No damage.Pic 5: Scratch on the touch screen overlay in the upper right side of the Home Button dimple.Pic 6: What the back plate looks like overall.My OverviewAfter treating the case with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol and a water rinse it looked fine. Crisis averted . . . I hope.This iPod touch case fits 7th Gens. It feels rugged & watertight and is difficult to open gently[as it should], especially tough to remove for those who don't have fingernails. There is a sealed gap on the right side of the port bank that helps with opening.If you aren't careful, the device will be vulnerable to water; So, give the port plugs a firm press to close completely flush.Since there wasn't any product packaging or information provided in the shipment, I've not water tested the case (so please test the case empty, duh).Water protection should not be a problem if it slips in the shower, bathtub of water, or any shallow watery hole and quickly snatched out.The touch screen overlay is a flexible film that will neither protect the screen from impact on surfaces that aren't; In addition, it does not rest directly on the iPod screen. The space between the touch screen & the film should be enough room for tempered glass screen protector.Thank you for reading my review, I know it was a lot for such a chintzy item.

I wanted something to protect my iPod when I went to the pool. The touchscreen is so easy to use and the durability is perfect.

I like the fact that my ipod is enclosed in this case and when accidentally dropped it is protected in this case. I also like the fact that is has a lanyard strap.

Arrived quickly and just perfect as far as having easy access to ipod and accessing screen quickly, recommend product

Exactly what I was looking for!! My IPod is much safer around my neck where I can’t put it down somewhere and leave it. Especially when traveling.Initially the on button was difficult to hold down to get it turned on with the stiffness of the case but it has loosened up. There’s no issue now. I also attached a lanyard to one ring instead of using the strap it came with. Much nicer! Touchscreen is responsive. It protects my device well too.I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a lanyard situation fir their device.

Well, it’s a child’s iPod so I know it will hit water. It’s survived the occasional splash and quick dunk. Well this time it was a good minute before I figured out what the spawn had done. The iPod in question is unresponsive. It was immediately put in rice. We will see how it goes. All the ports were closed. I do think that for a quick drop in water or a hard drop on the ground, this is amazing.

I love it! I work in a dusty environment and this case makes listening to music or audio books easy. My work apron pockets collects a lot of dirt and dust however the lanyard allows me to keep my iPod ssfe and clean! Also, my touch screen works great even though it's fully encased. I highly recommend this product. If you need a durable hand free case for your iPod.
