Mr. PenMetal Scissors, 8 Inch, Carbon Steel, Heavy Duty Sewing & Fabric Scissors, Tailor Shears

I use these scissors for work. I'm a insulater and they cut very well. I've bought at a least 3 of them. I also give them to my apprenticeship and they use them as there primary pair also. only problem I've had with some is sometimes the screw holding them together gets loose but I use them in construction and they get beat up alot so some wear and tear is expected. would absolutely purchase again. I have scissors that cost close to 60 bucks and those are great to but usually I prefer these

Just received it yesterday and only used it once. It cut very well on the first try. Wanted a scissors with a metal handle, not like the cheap plastic handles that many have.

The best scissors. Heavy, great hand feel. I am done with expensive orange handle scissors that are 2-3x the price. I have the copper color too! One for paper and one for cloth.

Bought 2 years ago and they are just as sharp and nice looking as the day I bought them. They are a quality pair of scissors. I would highly recommend these.

Got these to replace my old sewing shears. I love the style, and despite not having rubber grips, these are reasonably comfortable for metal scissors. They're definitely well made, and I have faith these won't break easily.That being said, the pair I received is a little tight, and was pretty squeaky at first. A little WD 40 took care of that thankfully. The other issue is that out of the package, these don't seem quite as sharp as my other scissors did when they were new. They do cut pretty cleanly (cut terry cloth, sweatshirt fleece, snuggle fleece, flannel, and quilting cotton with them so far), but as they are, I would be hesitant to use them to cut something that marrs easily, like gossamer, satin, etc. But they're so good in all other aspects, I might just go get them professionally sharpened. Ultimately , I don't regret this buy.

I love these, they’re perfect. They look great, not too heavy and they cut like butter. I use these to cut denim, silk, and cotton. They’re work beautifully every time

Hard steel, not worried about it breaking, this is a high quality item that will last for years, as opposed to the el cheapi crap in stores. Well worth the investment.

Love these! Bought as fabric scissors. And they are very sharp! The perfect size for cutting large areas. Easy to use. Great quality!
