Horticultural Cornmeal 40 lb.

I bought this to eradicate a fungus problem on my lawn. If you want to have an organic lawn and not use chemical, cornmeal can be used to eradicate fungus on lawns and gardens. I want to let everyone know that it really works. It takes about 3 weeks to see the improvement. I am fungus free now and my lawn looks beautiful. The cornmeal also acts as a fertilizer. I put down cornmeal on my whole yard. My yard is green. The thing I will say is that I had many birds and squirrels trying to eat the cornmeal. I will put down cornmeal again next year in the spring to prevent from lawn from getting the fungus again.

I use this in all my organic garden beds. Great product.

It kills mold in your yard.

I ordered Soil Mender cornmeal to help treat a severe fungi problem I had with my lawn that would make the Super Mario Bros. happy. It seemed to do the trick but not without help. I'll explain more on that later.My lawn is fairly large and according to the directions, I would have to use 4 bags of this cornmeal to provide adequate coverage. I couldn't justify the expense so I purchase 2 bags instead and applied them early in the summer this past year using my rotary spreader a medium to medium high setting. All in all the application process using a rotary spreader went quite well. Just keep in mind that this product is very fine and you'll have to periodically stop and mix it to have it settle back down where the rotary blade is located.A week after applying the cornmeal to my lawn, I applied the organic fungicide Actinovate using a garden hose sprayer. The cornmeal combined with Actinovate seemed to do the job because by summer's end the fungi were almost completely gone. The difference was night and day. But I suppose only time will tell. I'll post an update this spring and let you know if anything changes.

The real truth, however, will come in July when the hot, humid weather is in full swing.Update: Lawn was beautiful until the fungus started up again in the 2nd week of July. Sadly, this did not help. We've now had to resort to chemical fungicides to help control Brown Patch.

wonderful product. Using as a foot bath to heal dry cracking skin. Working better than prescribed medications.

I Have not used this product as yet. Plan to use in flower beds and on lawn when weather gets warmer.

I use cornmeal for all of my trees, flowers, and lawns. It is a great product. I prefer a flour type product, but I would buy this product again.
