It seems to do the job good used it a few times now

Bit noisy, but works a treat

For what this is and the cost I have to give 5 stars. Easy to assemble. When used over the last two days to shred up hedge and tree cutting the Einhell performed really well. I tried out a piece of branch around 700mm long and suggested width of 40mm...and it ate it. One thing I would say is that I have seen other reviews complaining about blade wear. I can say that after 4 hours use the blades had gone a little dull...but so easy to remove and turn round to use the other side. But with ANY piece of cutting or chopping equipment...you must be prepared to spend a little time in removing the blades and re sharpen....hardly a chore. All in all...does what it says on the tin...and for a tad over £100 worth every penny. I think you could spend £250 and not get any better performance.

I have a few Einhell products. Which are OK.I thought as a compliment to the Mercedes F1 team we could expect something that at least works out of the box.Plugged it in and fed it a couple of small Buddleia branches, usually eaten with enthusiasm by the old Bosch, same power. But it wouldn't touch them. So I had a look at the mechanism..There was no angle of clearance on the cutting blade, should be about 5 degrees clearance from axis. No not a sausage. So if you shim out the leading edge of the blade it will work. Oh good.Now one finds that it clogs up, yes even with dry twigs, because of the fins in the discharge schute. Cut them back.And have a look at the pusher, did the designer have a holiday? What can you push with that?It does work, finally, I use the Bosch pusher, modified..I did contact the manufacture, with these comments, and they " were sorry for my disappointment", that's it.I wonder how long it will last, motor etc. I don't hold out much hope, but I'll give it an easy life.In the small print of the instructions it does warn you not to use it at full power for more than 40% of the time. How to know that is not told..

Really pleased with this so far, munches up most of what goes in, just don't ask it to tackle too thick woody stuff as it will stall and require a reset.It's ideal for any brambles and greenery up to 20mm

It arrived with the fixings packet broken and the two wheel screws missing without wheels it is a lump to carry and not at all stable without treading on the frame. So really disappointed but I found in the things you keep in case they come in two screws that could fit. When I turned it over I heard rattle and one of the screws had somehow got into the mechanism but could not be removed with me unscrewing the whole machine. I could not risk starting it with it loose So once put back together I had a great time shedding willow branches. Very effective if noisy fine chippings collected in bag and no fiddly box to contend with like others. So function is 4 stars but attention to detail zero.

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Not too noisy and does the job. Be ready to get covered in dried leaves as it grabs the branches!

Great for just mulching the garden waste Would not use at the thickest recommend diameter but as usual great piece of Einhell garden product
