HCX 30 cm Shabu Shabu Dual Sided Hot Pot With Divider

Horrible!! Just got it today and did a leak test. Filled one side with water, and immediately began seeing water seep through to other side. I then filled both sides with water and put two drops food coloring in one side. Guess what, it started showing on the other side. What a joke of a product. Amazon should be ashamed to sell this item. Now the hassle of return and trying to get a decent pot.

As others have mentioned, the pot is a bit thin and flimsy, but it passed the water test (does not leak between sections), and that is what I was most concerned about. The handle on the lid is just screwed in, which I'm sure will loosen and need to be tightened every few uses, but that's ok. I wanted a hot pot, and I got a hot pot. Now I can't wait to use it.Update: I have now used this pot over my portable butane burner, and it worked great. The liquid broth heated up quickly, and there was no leakage between sections. No complaints.

Did the leak test and had no leaks. Also boiled the water to give it a stress test and it preformed well. You can see on the sides and the bottom the weld marks where the divider is welded to the pot. There were no dents or broken lid. The handles supported its weight when I picked it up full of water. The only thing I can say is the metal seems thin, it is not a heavy gauge metal.

It's pretty hard to find a shabu shabu pot on Amazon that works with an induction cooker, so I took a chance on this one. At first I was a little worried because the pot is a bit thin and it didn't pass the magnet test. But when I put it on the cooker it worked just fine. The packaging indicates it is made for induction. We've used it twice now with no problems.The divider is sort of welded in. There were no leaks. I would be careful when washing the pot since I'm not confident in how well-attached the divider is.The only concern I have is the thinness of the pot, but so far it seems fine.

The handles are not properly assembled so that the metal and plastic part does not match well, leading to safety concerns. I later returned this item.

I didn’t actually use this because it arrived with the handle fallen off without screws. I used my own screws to try and reattach it but it doesn’t tighten for some reason. I returned it.

I received the item now and when i opened the box, the item is dented. Not worth the price and seller must check the item first before shipping. Need to give me good discount for this or else will return.

Works with an induction cooktop, the one I have is the Duxtop 8100MC. Doesn't leak between the two sides, at least for the first use. There was conflicting information other reviews about these attributes, but at least for me this is the way it was. As of January 12, 2018, the product is good and works as advertised.You might be able to find similar items in your local Asian shop for cheaper.
