Ingenious alternative to picture hooks
Anything with a 3M adhesive on it seems to be about as good as you can get in my experience and these are no exception. Before now most of what I had used was involving Command adhesive strips holding up plastic hooks of various sizes, and to find a way to mount pictures on a wall without banging in nails but using the same sticky strips seemed well worth trying out. I was a little nervous at first I must admit, worrying whether photo frames would come crashing to the ground in the middle of the night, but I needn't have worried, none did. I had an issue with one frame which I need to point out though in case anyone else experiences the same. The frame in question was bare wood on the rear, and quite a cheap feeling soft one at that. For some reason, the strips don't want to stay stuck to it. They go on well enough, but even when you try to remove the frame from the wall in order to press the strip against the wall for 30 seconds as per the instructions, they come straight off the frame and seem to have no stickiness at all left on them. Very strange, but the wood seems to absorb it completely making them useless. The solution seems to be to apply a little varnish to the frame rear and let it dry thoroughly in order to seal the wood first. After that, all was well. They hold perfectly and are easy to adjust should you need to, just follow instructions and make sure you use the right number for the weight you want to hold in place. The value for money is great, more expensive than a cheap metal hook and nail, but far neater result, and you can remove it completely without leaving a mark, unlike nails. Highly recommended!

Good, but use with care
These products are a little bit more pricey than the competitors, but they work very well. I tend to use these ones for more heavier items, such as picture frames and small notice. If taken off incorrectly paint can be stripped, so just be careful and make sure that you take the time to remove it properly. If you’re using them on paper posters there is a chance that he will be too sticky and will rip when removing. This is user error and I’m only noting it so you don’t make the same mistake. In the summer months, do keep an eye on how they’re holding, as in the heat they do tend to get more dry and come loose. Overall, a good product that would recommend for its versatility and hold.

Brilliant, but needed a second go
I received a lovely extra large canvas for Christmas. I needed to put it up but didn't want to deal with screws, etc. as I wasn't sure which it was going on. My mother suggested this as she uses them to test positions of items first, then secure when a permanent home is found at her work and on some walls they aren't allowed to secure using damaging processes like screws (listed building). I looked into it, found these, which say they can support the size canvas I have on one. I chose two, I don't trust this type of thing easily as I have had them fall before (not this brand, and the bran would say that's the reason). I do like that each of the plastic supports came with four sticky finger strips. I used two per support. The teeth worried me a little but when you try it against the wood you realise it is no where near the canvas itself. I positioned one, took the canvas put it on and found where the other should go (very wide). Stuck, waited the hour, put it up properly and apart from realising the radiator is out when measured against the sealing (Edwardian property) it looked good. That night I screamed the house down whilst watching Midsummer Murders as the second one ripped of the wall taking a little plaster and paint with it. I patched, painted and waited a few days. Whilst waiting I checked the wood of the canvas and realise the teeth really do bite in, so if this is precious or delicate maybe not the right method. Read further instructions and roughed the paint slightly where it was going to stick. Used another two sticky pads to back it, put it up and this time gave it a weekend. It is STILL HANGING!

Very easy to use. Nice and narrow
Great hanging strips and very handy that they were narrow as they fitted down the side of a thin frame. Very easy to use

Strong and reliable
It took me a second to work out how to use them, but once you've got the hang of it they're fantastic. They're currently holding several large frames on the wall, and they're easily removed without leaving any residue on the wall (as a renter, this is handy!) - no damage to the walls whatsoever. They feel strong and reliable, and whilst it's early days I have no fear of them falling off the walls. They're a little bit expensive for what they are but they work so well that I feel it justifies it a bit.

Excellent
Great hanging strips, I got the narrow version which fit perfectly on the back of my frame which is narrow, personally i always get the proper Command strips which “click” together properly, the cheap Velcro ones are just cheap and nasty, always get the best, you get what you pay for!

Doesn't stick!
I’m not sure what has happened to this product, as I’ve always used it before without any problems. Firstly, it arrived loose in a plain brown cardboard envelope. Secondly, the backing was very difficult to remove, which I’ve never experienced before. Thirdly, it didn’t feel very sticky. I still used it to hang a picture (making sure the wall was clean and dust-free), but about 10 minutes later it fell off, crashing to the floor. The frame glass cracked and it also knocked over two candlesticks. I’m very disappointed. I’d be interested to know if anyone else has had this issue, or if I received a faulty batch.

Get extra if you have the canvas real-estate
Bought to hang some canvas paintings. I would suggest getting a few extra if you have enough space on your painting just so that it does not come crashing down. I used 2 for one painting just for the extra support. Followed the instructions to leave it on the wall for a few hours before hanging the picture on it. So far, it looks to be doing its job really well.

Super!
Ik wilde hiermee een doek ophangen en werkt perfect. Makkelijk op te hangen en af te halen. Klittenband en plaksterkte is goed! Ga dit ook voor toekomstige projecten gebruiken.
