KNIPEX 61 01 200 SBA High Leverage End Cutters-Bolt Cutters, 8 inches

I use these in the shop mostly for nail pulling for 16-23GA nails. They work extremely well for this task. Of course, I use them for cutting - and they are excellent!!!

This tool works very well! I use it for nipping off nails and even more often for pulling the nails. It's sharp and pretty easy to squeeze. It is made well, and the quality is noticeable. The only drawback is that it doesn't nip the nail off right at the surface. Instead, it leaves about 1/16"-1/8" of the nail protruding. In most cases, that is fine. But some situations require me to hammer the nail in a bit after I cut it off with the nippers.

This tool is worth every penny. I bought this tool and a Dremel tool to cut protruding roof nails. This bolt cutter cut through hundreds of nails with relatively ease while the Dremel tool took a long time just to cut one nail. I also like that its cutting blades are in perfect orientation to cut the roof nails sticking out of the overhang relatively flush. I wish there was a longer handle option to provide more leverage and reach.

Cuts small nails and thicker wire where a normal wire cutter cannot. Very impressive.

I found about this cutter on Project Farm channel on YT. It's the best pliers ever tested and no other brand even came close in the unbiased tests of 19 brands of similar pliers. As a tool guy, I just had to add it to my tool collection. I tried on it on some wire coat hangers and it cuts it like butter. The grip is comfortable and the size is just right to carry in my tool box. Highly recommended!

As with many others, I wanted these ever since seeing Project Farm's endorsement. The end cutters that defeated a hex key. They're everything they are reported to be. Of course, I'm not trying to destroy mine, but I do reach for them when I'm cutting something hard, so as to preserve the life of my less rugged cutters. The extra leverage is nice to have.

I do leatherwork and this worked on number 9 brass rivets. Not super easy but not overly hard either. I got the 68 200 version as well and it had a hard timer cutting. I had to use a wood clamp to squeeze the handle. This one you do not need that though.

Had alot of nails coming out of my subfloor in the basement and I was able to cut them without much effort (one hand) for such a small tool. Cut is pretty flush to the surface as well (1/16). Didn't try on nails with shank over 3/16 diameter
