WOODBRIDGE B0970S Smart Bidet Tankless Toilet Elongated One Piece ADA Height, Auto Flush, Foot Sensor Operation, Heated Seat with Integrated Multi Function Remote Control in White

First off: This is a GREAT alternative to the much more expensive toilets by the big name brands. We ordered from Amazon to "test out" the toilet in such a way that we could return it if there was any issue, as we plan on replacing 3 toilets with the B0970S and could not see one locally.UPDATE, 05/15/2021: I ordered 2 more of these, from Amazon, for a remodel we are doing.First, some answers to questions that are not clear in the online literature:1. This toilet DOES bolt down, just not in the usual way. Two small pinholes in the side allow stainless steel screws to reach the L-shaped brackets that bolt to the flange; see my photos for install info.2. This toilet DOES NOT have a tank of any sort; it's a water-pressure toilet. You need at least 15 PSI, which essentially all US homes have, at the shutoff.3. The angle shut off included DOES NOT work with US plumbing and is not required, per tech support. Go ahead and use your existing angle stop.4. The toilet DOES install successfully with a wax-free ring setup, and using that mechanism makes this toilet much easier to install.5. This toilet DOES support pre-wetting, in which it wets the bowl when you first sit down.Now, the review: This toilet rocks. It looks extremely expensive in person, and has a plastic lid / bidet control box and a porcelain body. It uses a siphonic-jet style flush with two stages, and it is an extremely effective way to flush and clean the whole bowl. Buttons on the side work fine, but if you mount the remote where you can reach it you can easily control full / half flush. We have no issues with flush power; works great in our install.The heating features (water and seat) work shockingly well. You won't need them set to maximum. The bidet in default position hits exactly where I need it to, but of course has adjustment range. I can't believe I've been being a neanderthal with just toilet paper before this. The dryer is quiet and reasonably effective - don't expect an airblade-like experience. The nightlight is great and has an ambient mode to detect light level, so it isn't always on.The main impression is that of attention to detail. Every screw hole has a cover, every part fits with good tolerances, and every function works great. It's just priced correctly. If you look at the competition, you can see that they take a regular toilet, and add a bidet seat. This should not cost more than ($toilet) + ($bidet seat) and yet somehow it costs 4 * ($toilet + $bidet). The Woodbridge is not cheap, and they did not cut corners. It's just priced fairly; it's more like 1.5x the cost of the two parts as available from Woodbridge.If you are in the market for a carrier-less / tank-less toilet with bidet, you already know the very short list of options. This, to me, looks like the absolute bang-for-the-buck king.

Update - I really like the toilet, but it's pretty rough getting parts. Toilet won't flush, and I've been waiting on the new solenoid for two months. Meanwhile the toilet won't flush at all. Kinda wish I'd bought a name brand for parts availability.I purchased the cheaper model, specifically because it had a flatter seat.First the good. The price is amazing for what you get here. Great features, options, and even flushing power. It really is great in use. No complaints at all.The bad. It's kinda weird that this model has no bolt holes to connect it to the floor. I first tried a waxless seal, and it just didn't stick it to the floor like I wanted. It didn't want to stay in place. As you may know a wax seal is a one and done item. Once you drop the toilet on it, it compresses and the item is spent. Its very hard to align this thing on a wax seal without the bolt holes for guidance. It took me 3 wax seals to get it right. Once I did, it's 100 percent stable, even without the bolts normal toilets have. It doesn't rock or move. I did not use ceramic adhesive as the instructions called for. The wax seal alone is more than enough. A few days later I caulked around the bottom, but it was unnecessary. Fortunately wax seals are cheap, and even with this minor annoyance, I would 100 percent but this again. No regrets

After using this smart toilet for three years, with full satisfaction, I encountered a problem with flushing. I called and emailed Woodridge customer service. They contacted me promptly via phone and email. After I sent a video, as the best way to explain my problem, Carlos (customer care rep) determined that my problem was a solenoid valve. He sent me a new one with an explanation of how to replace the broken one. After replacing the solenoid valve my smart toilet bidet working as new.This is a perfect example of how customer care service must work in order to build consumer confidence in their product. Hidden GFCI Power outlet: If you want the power cord to be hidden like in some of the photos, put your box in at 6 in height from the floor, not 9 in as that will most likely not give you clearance to then plug it in (see photo). Rather then moving the box, I ended up rewiring with an appliance plug (which did fit at 9in).As for the water supply line, easy to use the supplied parts with an adapter (I had a standard fixture supply line which I didn’t want to change out).5 stars as first unit came cracked and team replaced for me. Can’t beat that.As for the install, two people would be recommended but can be done alone. I got it up on 3/4in wood squares stacked on top of some 2x4 pieces of scrap wood, which was enough space to slide in a wax ring and position it correctly (it slides around on wood easily). From there, lower onto the seal by removing the squares then 2x4s. If it’s your first time putting in a toilet, it’s easier to go with an extra thick & reinforced wax seal (~$6), as they can hold the weight of this toilet - which means they are pretty forgiving & you can slowly squeeze the toilet down.3 month update:5 stars! No issues, and very happy. Thinking about buying a second one if the price drops. The unit keeps itself super clean, far better compared to traditional toilets. Three months in, and it’s a game changer. Highly recommend this brand after some hands on time.

The product looked fine and worked fine. Then I. Less than a year , the flush became super week and then water started leaking. Our plumber checked it and a part had broken. This was no where near where we could have touched and broken it. I gave all these details to customer service and even though the product is still under warranty they claim this was not a manufacturing defect and refuse to replace. A total waste of $1100. This on top of what I had to spend on the plumber. Will never buy this brand again
