Will always be afraid to dunk my phone in water, even with a case/bag
I wanted this case to arrive before my yearly trip to the beach. However, it didn't arrive in time. When I got home, I immediately ran to test it out. I first started by putting toilet paper into the bag, closing it, and dunking it in the sink. It came out completely dry! *While trying to remove the toilet paper, I noticed the top black bar part CAN come off, and may come off while you are opening it. Don't worry, as it can easily be put back on* I slid my phone (galaxy s3) in the bag and sealed it. I jumped into the shower and left the phone on the floor of the shower. I took a picture of the soap bottle to see how well the picture came out. There was no way you could tell it was in the bag! I got out, dried the case off, and tried to remove the phone. It was very difficult to remove the phone from the bag, as it seems like it was almost "stuck" to the inside (which is why I gave this 4 stars).Overall, this bag is great from any kind of "light" water activities and picture taking. No matter what case/bag I buy, I will ALWAYS be afraid to throw my phone in the water. However, this case stood up to both the heat and the water!

its debatable.
i just bought this case for my LG optimus G phone hoping to use it next week when i go on vacation. as soon as it arrived, i tested it by putting a dry tissue inside. i filled my sink with water and placed the case underwater. when i took it out a corner of the tissue was not soaked but slightly damp. i'm not sure if this is because a drop of water may have gone in when i opened the case to take it out or not. when it was underwater there were no air bubbles surfacing. i leave for vacation of saturday am im debating if i should trust this with my phone inside or not.. help?

Took it to an amusement park. Would of rated 5 but..
So I bought this waterproof case with next day delivery and it was delivered as advertised. I was very excited and now confident to take pictures at the amusement park, get wet on some rides, and not worry about my phone. I was 100% happy with it, so much that I even fit my husband's small Lg phone together with my GS3 and they were both protected just for a water ride. I would of rated the product 5 stars if only the string that attaches to the lineyard wouldn't have ripped off at the end of the day :( I guess bad luck. I will try to use something else and attach it again. But the case itself worked great! Took clear videos/pictures too! It was very convenient carrying my phone hanged on my neck and recording on some rides :) Overall I would recommend it to others.

Works great for Note 3 even!
This came in the mail quickly! I took this to Cancun, put my big Samsung Note 3 in there (without the case) and could easily have added a credit card cash and a few coins if I wanted. I bought two, one for the Note 3 and the other for cash, coins, credit cards and room card. This works amazingly well for the price. First I wanted to make sure it wasnt faulty so like others I put some tissue in it and filled the sink with water, weighted it and left it over night. Dry tissue the next day. Then went to Cancun and spent more time in the water than out for 7 days and it worked like a charm and gave us the opportunity for some great pictures that we wouldnt have gotten or woulda had to pay alot for. I had it totally submerged in water numerous times and for extended amounts of time. These are not commonly sold out in there yet and the one place I did see selling it was selling for about $30. I didnt try taking pictures underwater with it so I cant say if it would have worked, I did notice if I did not power down the screen once the phone was submerged it would open up apps probably due to the pressure under water so I can see it could become weak or spring a leak from repeated pressing to power down the screen at the seam where my Note 3 power button is. Its well made and did not leak or have any condensation in it at all the entire week. Its well worth the money. They are both stowed in my travel bag for our next adventure!

Disappointed.
Maybe mine is defective? I purchased this in hopes of having some protection in the even that I were to fall in my pool with my phone or head down to the beach for the day. As it stands, all this pouch can stand up to is a incredibly brief dousing. Prolonged submersion of more than a moment or two and the product does leak slowly even at the waters surface. I am glad I tested this with a piece of paper towel and a bowl before chancing it and taking it out to the real deal.In conclusion, it will last a quick dip, but anything more and you are asking for trouble.

Lake proof. Beach proof, Rainproof. River proof.
Absolutely 100 % dependable h20-proof and you can take completely clear pic's and videos right through it. Just be certain that no moisture is anywhere on this case when you insert your phone into it (not even a drop of a drizzle of rain on the phone)- cause it's so airtight that any little bit of moisture will then condense inside and you'lll have to undo it all and dry it out so that it will be clear. Nothing would have been harmed; just the clear view would have been fogged by the condenstation.I did like others said they did- when I got it I put a piece of paper towel in it, sealed it up, and submerged it in a big bowl of water overnite. Completely dry- no leakage whatsoever. So I took it out and took underwater pic's in a river, and had it while canoeing. The whole time on the river trip my iphone 5s was in this case, and everything was good. You can turn your phone on when it's in the case. You can swipe up to get the camera going. You can enter your password through it. And with a little 'doing', you can turn your phone off too. Lake proof. Beach proof, Rainproof. River proof.

Cheap but needs improvement.
Guess I should have considered that I won't need this for deep diving. It doesn't come with instructions, so you have to intuit how it works. Plus, it has a small piece that completes that seal and can be easily dropped and lost. All together there are three pieces that all disconnect from one another- so it would be easy to lose one or drop one piece in the water!! The neck lanyard is a thin ribbon that cuts into your neck due to the weight of the phone...becomes uncomfortable after awhile.
