Greatly Improved and Very Good
I've had these before and the were OK but weak because the base was clip-on. These are now a one-piece unit plus lid and are much stronger.I find it far easier to use these refillable types, just make your own fly attracting liquid; beer, wine, Vinegar, sardines etc

great for wasp season
I have had these before but the other style I had fell apart. I put a mixture of vinegar and cider in these to only attract the wasps during wasp season.they are easy to clean

Secure well, fill well and are effective
Make sure securely fixed as one gust of wind and one smashed into bits, filled the other with lager and got 100’s in for a end of life party

Not made from glass. It is cheap plastic. No instructions included. But I am sure it will work.
Should be made from glass a suggested..

Hasn't worked yet
I've been using these for a month and haven't caught any wasps yet, just about 4 midges and a house fly. Might be the bait concoction I'm using though, so I'll update if I get any more luck in future. Not very attractive but would be worth it if it worked.

Work really well.
These actually do a great job of catching wasps and flies.I have used beer and cider as an attractant. I have found that cider works best - especially for wasps, which is the main reason I purchased them. I bought 2 a couple of years ago but decided to buy an additional 2 this year for the other side of my house. When I first put them up this season, by the time I had hung up all 4, the first two traps already had captured a couple of wasps. The only VERY small downside is that the container for the bait could be a little deeper so that you can get more cider in without it coming out the entry holes, but that’s a very small niggle. If you suffer from wasps or flies in your garden area, you won’t regret hanging these up.
