The media could not be loaded. This mixes very well! I was going to show it actually mixing a powder reageant but you will have to take my word that it did way better then me shaking it for two minutes. You can see the vortex in the water in my video. I will use the dial but the touch may be better for cone or rounded bottom viles.

Whew! This is definitely a machine you need to focus on your hand with. If using for nailpolish like I do, you NEED to purchase nailpolish thinner (NOT remover) and the agitator balls for best results. Just like 5 drops will do. You can't UNDO too much. So the smaller the polish, start with 3 drops.This mixer has a hard plastic top, so don't put your nail polish in the center, put it on the edge and then move it around every 15 seconds. I have hundreds of polishes and these aren't even all of them pictured. If.I don't do this review now, who knows.The images attached show my polishes before and after the vortex/thinner/agitator mix and 30 seconds. The swatches on paper show my gunky nail polish before and after I put NAIL POLISH thinner in it, an agitator and just hand shook it a few times.Yes, some hand shaking is still needed. Seller is very responsive. I just did 4 stars because I don't like the hard top vs the soft top the mini Vortex the seller has.

The media could not be loaded. I used a smaller version of this mixer for a little while, and it was great, but this larger version is amazing. Can easily mix up Apothecary White contrast paint (notoriously hard to mix) in no time at all. Highly recommend!

Using this for hobby paint mixing. This is a heavy duty appliance. Very good construction. Maybe one of the best affordable vortex mixers. Paints that I would shake for 2 minutes to mix before are now ready in 30 seconds. I have used battery powered devices for mixing in the past and this blows them away. I think this item will last for years.

I didn’t like it when the mixer stopped working after about 15 minutes of continuous use it seemed to over heat. This slowed down my process but fortunately it did un-overheat and I continued on. If it keeps up I will return it.

Our first mixer had issues, but Onilab setup a replacement quickly and with no issue. Good company!!

I bought this as an upgrade to a previously purchased vortex mixer I had used. This one squeaks quite loudly (think nails on a chalkboard) and seems like it is going to fail soon. I would avoid this product.Edit: After writing this review, the company reached out to me about the noisy mixer. They were very kind and sent me a new one promptly, which works great. I’m glad they stand behind their product and I am happy with the mixer I have now.
