I’m quite bad at reading descriptions before i buy so i didn’t realise these would be proper glass bottles. It’s really sturdy and looks great in our kitchen. The two pouring bottles take a bit of getting used to. Oil works great in them but vinegar comes out pretty fast if you don’t know how to use it.

Had many 'cruet' sets but the necks on the bottles always dripped vinegar, oil, soy sauce or whatever.The bottles on this set do not drip and the apertures are covered when not in use. Salt and pepper shakers have a choice of apertures including 'closed' which is great for outdoors as the whole set is insect proof.All containers are a useful size but remember they are designed for the table so if you want to fry chips the oil bottle may not be big enough to fill the pan!!The whole thing is easily transported by the central handle.Very pleased with this item and extremely good quality.NOTE: The tops of the shakers and carrying handle are covered in a protective plastic film which needs to be removed so you can see the metal!!

It looks lovely, sturdy but what an awkward pots to try get the lids off to fill.. No instructions how to either.. I've had to contact amazon to get the seller contact details for help as they don't just unscrew!!

its ok but vinegar comes out to fast not really a vinegar bottle

My only critic is that the vinegar/oil pouring comes out very quickly, there's no gadge to restricte flow but I just pay attention when I pour.But they look great, they work and they don't leak.

This is exactly as shown,perfect for what I want,the ability to close the shakers is a wonderful bonus,BUT,when it arrived the lid of one shaker is scratched and nowhere on Amazon does it give you the ability to contact the seller so I'm stuck with it as I don't want the faff of returning the whole thing just for one scratched lid.
